Description

Claims (15)
- 単一の固体半導体ダイを備える超音波デバイスであって、
前記単一の固体半導体ダイ上に、
少なくとも1つの第1の容量性マイクロマシン加工ウルトラソニックトランスデューサ(CMUT)を有する第1の超音波要素と、少なくとも1つの第2のCMUTを有する第2の超音波要素とを含む複数の超音波要素、
前記第1の超音波要素に結合され、前記第1のCMUTに第1の超音波波形を提供するように構成された第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器であって、1つまたは複数の構成可能動作パラメータを有する第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器、
前記第2の超音波要素に結合され、前記第2のCMUTに第2の超音波波形を提供するように構成された第2のプログラム可能な波形発生器であって、1つまたは複数の構成可能動作パラメータを有する第2のプログラム可能な波形発生器、
前記第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器の第1の構成可能動作パラメータの値と、前記第2のプログラム可能な波形発生器の第2の構成可能動作パラメータの値とを制御するように構成されたコントローラ、
前記第1の超音波要素に結合され、前記第1の超音波要素から提供されるアナログ信号をデジタル信号に変換するように構成された第1のアナログ−デジタル変換器(ADC)、
前記第2の超音波要素に結合され、前記第2の超音波要素から提供されるアナログ信号をデジタル信号に変換するように構成された第2のADC、および
前記第1および第2のADCからの前記デジタル信号を含むシリアルデジタルデータストリームを、前記超音波デバイスから外部デバイスへと通信するように構成されたデジタルシリアル通信モジュール、
が形成された、超音波デバイス。 - 前記デジタルシリアル通信モジュールは、ユニバーサルシリアルバス(USB)モジュールである、請求項1に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器は、チャープ、連続波、コード化励振、またはインパルスを生成するようにプログラム可能である、請求項1に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器の前記1つまたは複数の構成可能動作パラメータは、位相、周波数、およびチャープ率を含む、請求項3に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器は、前記単一の固体半導体ダイ内の前記第1のCMUTの下に設けられる、請求項1に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記複数の超音波要素は、高密度焦点式超音波(HIFU)を提供するように構成された少なくともいくつかの超音波要素を含む、請求項1に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器と前記第1のCMUTとの間に結合され、前記第1のCMUTに電圧パルスを提供するように構成されたパルサをさらに備え、前記電圧パルスの少なくともいくつかは、約30ボルト〜約120ボルトの電圧である、請求項6に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記複数の超音波要素は、超音波撮像を行うように構成された少なくともいくつかの超音波要素を含む、請求項6に記載の超音波デバイス。

前記超音波デバイスは前記外部デバイスに結合され、前記外部デバイスはスマートフォンを含む、超音波システム。 - 前記第1のADCは、前記第1のCMUTと前記デジタルシリアル通信モジュールとの間の受信信号経路の一部を形成し、前記受信信号経路は、前記第1のADCに結合された復調器をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記復調器は、前記第1のADCの出力に結合されたデジタル直交復調器である、請求項12に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記受信信号経路は、低雑音増幅器(LNA)と、前記復調器の入力に結合された可変利得増幅器(VGA)とをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の超音波デバイス。
- 前記第1のプログラム可能な波形発生器は、連続波、コード化励振、およびインパルスを生成するようにプログラム可能である、請求項1に記載の超音波デバイス。
