Description
使用することができる別の酸化防止剤として、アルキル化ジフェニルアミン(ADPA)およびヒンダードフェノールが挙げられる。
高温および低温実施可能性を与えるために、粘度調整剤(VM)を潤滑剤中で使用することができる。VMを使用して、単独機能を与えてもよいし、または多機能でもよい。多機能の粘度調整剤はまた、分散機能に別の機能性を付与する。粘度調整剤および分散性粘度調整剤の例は、ポリメタクリラート、ポリアクリラート、ポリオレフィン、スチレン−マレイン酸エステルコポリマー、ならびにホモポリマー、コポリマーおよびグラフトコポリマーを含めた同様のポリマー物質である。
明細書に記載の組成物、添加剤、および濃縮物を配合する際の使用に適する基油は、合成もしくは天然油、またはその混合物のうちのいずれかから選択することができる。合成基油として、ジカルボン酸のアルキルエステル、ポリブテンを含めたポリ−αオレフィン、アルキルベンゼン、リン酸の有機エステル、ポリシリコーン油、ならびにアルキレンオキシドポリマー、インターポリマー、コポリマー、およびそれらの誘導体が挙げられ、ここで、末端ヒドロキシル基は、エステル化、エーテル化、およびその他同種のものによって変性されている。
潤滑組成物はまた、洗浄剤を含み得る。本明細書で使用する洗浄剤は、好ましくは、有機酸の金属塩である。洗浄剤の有機部分は、好ましくは、スルホナート、カルボキシラート、フェナート、およびサリチラートである。洗浄剤の金属部分は、好ましくは、アルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属である。好ましい金属は、ナトリウム、カルシウム、カリウム、およびマグネシウムである。好ましくは、洗浄剤は過塩基性であり、これは中性金属塩の形成に必要な金属より化学量論的に過剰な金属が存在することを意味する。
潤滑組成物はまた、分散剤を含み得る。分散剤として、分散させる粒子と会合できる官能基を有する可溶性ポリマー炭化水素骨格が挙げられ得るが、それだけに限らない。典型的には、アミド、アミン、アルコール、またはエステル部分が、橋かけ基によってポリマー骨格に結合されている。分散剤は、無灰スクシンイミド分散剤、アミン分散剤、マンニッヒ分散剤、コッホ分散剤、およびポリアルキレンスクシンイミド分散剤から選択することができる。
ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛(ZDDP)を潤滑油添加剤組成物中で使用することもできる。ZDDPは、良好な耐摩耗性および酸化防止性を有し、エンジンの重要な要素に摩耗保護として使用されている。多くの特許が、ZDDPの製造および使用を扱っており、それには、米国特許第4,904,401号、米国特許第4,957,649号、および米国特許第6,114,288号がある。非限定的な一般的ZDDPタイプは、一級および二級ZDDP、ならびに一級および二級ZDDPの混合物である。別の補足的な耐摩耗成分を潤滑油添加剤組成物中で使用することもできる。これには、ホウ酸塩エステル、脂肪族リン酸アミン、芳香族リン酸アミン、トリアリールホスファート、無灰ホスホロジチオアート、無灰ジチオカルバマート、および金属ジチオカルバマートが挙げられるが、それらだけに限らない。
カルシウムジノニルナフタレンスルホナートなどの金属スルホナート系からなる群から選択される防錆剤、2,5−ジメルカプト−1,3,4−チアジアゾールアルキルポリカルボキシラートなどのDMTD系防錆剤、ドデセニルコハク酸の誘導体、および4,5−ジヒドロ−1H−イミダゾールの脂肪酸誘導体を使用することができる。
TMQは、二量体および三量体単位から構成されている1,2−ジヒドロ−2,2,4−トリメチルキノリン、すなわち、Vanlube(登録商標)RDである。
Claims (7)
- 潤滑油ベースとしての、潤滑油組成物全体の少なくとも20重量%のポリアルキレングリコールと、
組成物全体の約0.25〜2.0重量%の添加剤と
を含む潤滑剤組成物であって、前記添加剤が、
(1)C8アルキル化フェニル−α−ナフチルアミンと、
(2)1,2−ジヒドロ−2,2,4−トリメチルキノリン二量体および三量体の混合物と
を含み、但し、
(a)前記添加剤が0.25〜1.0%で存在する場合、成分(1)および(2)が1:1〜3:1の重量比で存在し、
(b)前記添加剤が1.0〜2.0%で存在する場合、成分(1)および(2)が1:3〜1:1の重量比で存在する、
潤滑剤組成物。 - 成分(1)および(2)が、1:1の重量比で存在する、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- エステル基油を実質的に含まない、請求項1または2に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 鉱油または天然または非PAG合成基油を実質的に含まない、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記潤滑剤ベースが、ポリアルキレングリコールから本質的になる、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記潤滑剤ベースが、少なくとも90重量%のポリアルキレングリコールを含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記添加剤が、1%で存在する、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
