Claims (6)
- 導電性を有する第1の基板と、前記第1の基板上に形成された有機層と、透光性を有する第2の基板と、前記第2の基板上に形成された電極層と、を備え、
前記第1の基板の有機層が形成された面及び前記第2の基板の電極層が形成された面が対面するように配され、
前記有機層は、前記第1の基板の周縁部のいずれかの領域には形成されておらず、
前記第2の基板は、前記有機層が形成されていない領域と対向する部分に、前記電極層の一部が該有機層のある領域より外周側に延設され、
前記第1の基板は、前記延設された電極層と対向する部分には存在せず、前記延設された電極層が前記第1の基板から露出して電極取出し部を構成しており、前記第1の基板及び前記第2の基板は、前記第1の基板又は前記第2の基板の周縁部に設けられた接着層によって接合され、
前記第1の基板の前記有機層が形成された面と反対側の面は、少なくとも一部が露出していることを特徴とする有機ELデバイス。 - 前記接着層は、吸湿層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記電極層は、前記有機層と当接する主電極部と、前記主電極部と接すると共に、前記有機層とは絶縁された補助電極部と、から構成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記電極取出し部の電極層は、前記補助電極部の一部であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 前記第1の基板は、バリア性を有する金属材料から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の有機ELデバイス。
- 導電性を有する第1の基板と、前記第1の基板上に形成された有機層と、透光性を有する第2の基板と、前記第2の基板上に形成された電極層と、を備え、
前記第1の基板の有機層が形成された面及び前記第2の基板の電極層が形成された面が対面するように配され、
前記有機層は、前記第1の基板の周縁部のいずれかの領域には形成されておらず、
前記第2の基板は、前記有機層が形成されていない領域と対向する部分に、前記電極層の一部が該有機層のある領域より外周側に延設され、
前記第1の基板は、前記延設された電極層と対向する部分には存在せず、前記延設された電極層が前記第1の基板から露出して電極取出し部を構成しており、
前記第1の基板の前記有機層が形成された面と反対側の面は、少なくとも一部が露出している有機ELデバイスの製造方法であって、
前記第1の基板上に前記有機層を形成する工程と、
前記第2の基板上に前記電極層を形成する工程と、
前記第1の基板の前記有機層が形成された面及び前記第2の基板の前記電極層が形成された面が対面するように配して接合する工程と、を有することを特徴とする有機ELデバイスの製造方法。
