Description
以下、本実施形態の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子について図1〜図16に基づいて説明する。
図17に示す本実施形態の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子は、実施形態1と略同じ構成を有しており、第1基板10の上記一表面と第1電極20との間に吸湿部80を設けてある点が実施形態1と相違する。なお、他の構成は実施形態1と同じなので、実施形態1と同じ構成要素には同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
Claims (13)
- 第1基板と、
前記第1基板に対向して配置される第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に介在される素子部と、
前記第1基板において前記素子部と対向する第1内面に形成される第1引き出し電極部と、
前記第2基板において前記素子部と対向する第2内面に形成される第2引き出し電極部と、
電気絶縁性を有する絶縁部と、
を備え、
前記素子部は、
発光層を含み、厚み方向の第1面および第2面を有する機能層と、
前記機能層の前記第1面上に配置される第1電極層と、
前記機能層の前記第2面上に配置される第2電極層と、
を有し、
前記素子部は、前記第1電極層の一部が前記第1引き出し電極部に接触し、かつ、前記第2電極層の一部が前記第2引き出し電極部に接触するように、前記第1引き出し電極部と前記第2引き出し電極部との間に介在され、
前記絶縁部は、前記第1基板の前記第1内面と前記第2基板の前記第2内面との間に介在され、
前記第2電極層は、前記発光層から放射された光を通過させるように構成され、
前記第2基板は、前記発光層から放射された光を透過させるように構成され、
前記第2電極層は、
電極パターンと、
前記発光層から放射された光を透過させる材料により形成された導電性層と、
を備え、
前記電極パターンは、
前記機能層の前記第2面を覆う電極部と、
前記機能層の前記第2面を露出させるように前記電極部に形成される開口部と、
を有し、
前記導電性層は、前記機能層の前記第2面を覆うように、前記機能層の前記第2面と前記電極パターンとの間に介在される
ことを特徴とする有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第1引き出し電極部と前記第2電極層との最短距離は、前記第1電極層と前記第2電極層との最短距離よりも長く、
前記第2引き出し電極部と前記第1電極層との最短距離は、前記第2電極層と前記第1電極層との最短距離よりも長い
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 水分を吸着する吸湿部を備え、
前記吸湿部は、前記第1電極層と前記第1基板との間に介在される
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記発光層から放射された光を透過させる樹脂層を備え、
前記樹脂層は、前記第2電極層と前記第2基板との間に介在され、
前記樹脂層は、前記導電性層の屈折率以上の屈折率を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第1電極層は、前記発光層から放射された光を反射するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第1引き出し電極部と前記第2引き出し電極部とは互いに対向しないように配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記絶縁部は、前記第1基板および前記第2基板とともに前記素子部を気密に収納するハウジングを形成するように構成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 第1端子部を備え、
前記第1基板は、前記第1内面とは反対側の第1外面を有し、
前記第1端子部は、前記第1基板の前記第1外面に形成され、
前記第1基板には、前記第1引き出し電極部を前記第1端子部に電気的に接続する第1貫通配線が形成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第2基板は、前記第1引き出し電極部を露出させる切欠部を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第1基板の側面に形成される第1端子部を備え、
前記第1引き出し電極部は、前記第1端子部に電気的に接続される
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 第2端子部を備え、
前記第2基板は、前記第2内面とは反対側の第2外面を有し、
前記第2端子部は、前記第2基板の前記第2外面に形成され、
前記第2基板には、前記第2引き出し電極部を前記第2端子部に電気的に接続する第2貫通配線が形成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第1基板は、前記第2引き出し電極部を露出させる切欠部を備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜10のうちいずれか1項記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。 - 前記第2基板の側面に形成される第2端子部を備え、
前記第2引き出し電極部は、前記第2端子部に電気的に接続される
