データ出力手段は、ビーパ用の音響信号に変換される信号またはLCDもしくはLEDに対する光もしくは出力のような、任意の望ましい形をとっていてよい。
−監視された電力出力に関して監視装置からデータ出力を受け取るための手段と、
−受信データに応答して信号を送信するための信号伝達手段と、
−電気装置の少なくとも1台の消費電力の変更を遂行するために監視装置と通信するための制御手段とを含む。
電力線搬送インタフェース38が、本線電力接続経由で、他の装置との双方向電力線搬送通信を処理する。
a.家庭またはオフィス環境内のエネルギー消費量の管理のための、個々のアウトレットからの電力およびエネルギー使用のユーザ監視。例えば、家庭内の特定のアウトレットからの異常なエネルギー消費量は、誤ったパラメータ設定または構成による省エネルギー装置、または不良のもしくは誤用された電気機器の存在を示しうる。

Claims (6)
- 外部電気装置の消費電力を減らすための省エネルギー装置であって、
外部電力供給に接続できる入力;
選択的に動作電力を与えるための外部電気装置に接続できる出力;
前記出力を経由して外部電気装置に電力が供給されたときに制御するためのプロセッサ;
遠隔制御装置の出力を監視するためのセンサーであって、前記プロセッサと組み合わされているセンサー;および
前記外部電気装置の消費電力を感知するように構成されている電力センサーを含み;
前記プロセッサが、さらに、感知した消費電力から前記外部電気装置がオン、スタンバイまたはオフのいずれの電力状態であるかを決定するように構成されており、
前記外部電気装置がオンにあると決定された場合、前記遠隔制御装置の出力のセンサーによる検知がないことが所定のタイムアウト期間を超えたときに、前記プロセッサが前記外部電気装置への電力の供給を停止するように動作する、省エネルギー装置。 - 前記遠隔制御装置が、ラジオ周波数(RF)制御信号を発生し、前記センサーがRF信号を監視する請求項1に記載の省エネルギー装置。
- 前記遠隔制御装置が、赤外線(IR)制御信号を発生し、前記センサーがIR信号を監視する請求項1に記載の省エネルギー装置。
- さらに警告装置を含み、前記警告装置は前記外部電気装置への電力供給の停止前にユーザーに警告信号を与える、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の省エネルギー装置。
- 前記警告装置が少なくとも1つの音響信号または視覚信号を与える、請求項4に記載の省エネルギー装置。
- 複数の出力をさらに含み、前記の複数の出力のそれぞれは、接続されている外部電気装置に動作電力を与えるための前記入力に選択的に電気的に接続するために構成されている請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の省エネルギー装置。
