Description
Claims (13)
- 普通充電器または前記普通充電器よりも大きい電力容量で充電を行う急速充電器のいずれかに充電カプラ(13)によって接続可能であって、前記充電カプラ(13)によって前記普通充電器または前記急速充電器が接続された時に、電動車両の駆動源であるモータ(18)に電流を供給するバッテリ(4)に対して充電に必要な電力を供給する電動車両の充電制御装置において、
前記普通充電器は、第1の充電回路(52)を備え、
前記急速充電器は、前記第1の充電回路(52)に加えて該第1の充電回路(52)と並列に第2の充電回路(53)を備え、急速充電に必要な電力のうち前記普通充電器と同じ容量の電力を前記第1の充電回路(52)から供給し、その残りを前記第2の充電回路(53)から供給する構成のものであり、
前記充電カプラ(13)は、前記第1の充電回路(52)に接続される第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の充電回路(53)に接続される第2の端子(TA2)を備え、
前記第1の端子(TA1)が、前記普通充電器および前記急速充電器の第1の充電回路(52)に接続される共用端子とされ、前記第2の端子(TA2)と並列に接続されて前記バッテリ(4)に対して接続されており、
前記充電カプラ(13)が、第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)の双方を収容しており、
前記充電カプラ(13)が、充電器側の単一のプラグ(43)とバッテリ側の単一のソケット(44)とからなり、
前記普通充電器用のプラグ(43)と前記急速充電器用のプラグ(43)とが同じ構造とされており、
前記ソケット(44)は、前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)を 構成する高電圧の電力ライン用端子(T1〜T4)が配置された高電圧領域(71)と、 補助電源用端子(T5)および信号用端子(T6〜T8)が配置された低電圧領域(72 )とに分割されており、
前記高電圧領域(71)と前記低電圧領域(72)との間に間隙(73)が設けられて いることを特徴とする電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記第1の充電回路(52)および前記第2の充電回路(53)が、ともに同じ定格電力のものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
- 前記第1の充電回路(52)および前記第2の充電回路(53)は、その出力がともに直流仕様であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
- 前記充電カプラ(13)において、前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)のそれぞれに温度センサ(14)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
- 前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)と前記バッテリ(4)との間を接続する電力線上のそれぞれに、前記第1の充電回路(52)および第2の充電回路(53)によって印加される電圧に対して順方向に接続されたダイオード(D1〜D4)を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
- 前記第1の充電回路(52)および前記第2の充電回路(53)の出力電力線上で、前記充電カプラ(13)までの間にそれぞれ配置されたスイッチング手段(58、61)と、
前記急速充電器または普通充電器のいずれが前記充電カプラ(13)に接続されているかによって前記スイッチング手段(58、61)の双方または前記第1の充電回路(52)の出力電力線上のスイッチング手段(58)のみを駆動する駆動信号を出力し、前記急速充電器および普通充電器がいずれも前記充電カプラ(13)に接続されていないときには前記スイッチング手段(58、61)を非駆動とするため、前記駆動信号の出力を禁止するスイッチング手段駆動部(86)とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記急速充電器または普通充電器のいずれが前記充電カプラ(13)に接続されているかに応じて異なるレファレンス電圧を形成するレファレンス電圧形成部(84)と、
前記急速充電器または普通充電器のいずれもが前記充電カプラ(13)に接続されていないときに前記レファレンス電圧とは異なる異常電圧を形成する異常電圧形成部(85)とを備え、
前記スイッチング手段駆動部(86)が、前記レファレンス電圧を検出したときにスイッチング手段(58、61)を駆動し、前記異常電圧を検出したときに前記スイッチング手段(58、61)を非駆動とするように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項6記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)と前記バッテリ(4)との間を接続する電力線上に配置されたコンタクタ(8)と、
前記急速充電器または普通充電器のいずれが前記充電カプラ(13)に接続されているかに応じて異なるレファレンス電圧を形成するレファレンス電圧形成部(84)と、
前記レファレンス電圧を検出したときにレファレンス電圧検出信号を出力し、前記レファレンス電圧検出信号が供給されて、前記コンタクタ(8)をオンにするバッテリ管理ユニット(7)とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記第1の端子(TA1)は、プラス側の電力線(PL1)およびマイナス側の電力線(PL2)を有し、
前記第2の端子(TA2)がプラス側の電力線(PL3)およびマイナス側の電力線(PL4)を有し、
前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)と前記バッテリ(4)との間を接続する電力線上に配置されたコンタクタ(8)と、
前記第1の端子(TA1)のプラス側の電力線(PL1)とマイナス側の電力線(PL2)との間の短絡、前記第1の端子(TA1)のプラス側の電力線(PL1)と前記第2の端子(TA2)のマイナス側の電力線(PL4)との間の短絡、前記第2の端子(TA2)のプラス側の電力線(PL3)とマイナス側の電力線(PL4)との間の短絡、および、前記第2の端子(TA2)のプラス側の電力線(PL3)と前記第1の端子(TA1)のマイナス側の電力線(PL2)との間の短絡を検出する検出回路と、
前記検出回路が、前記短絡を検出したときに出力される短絡検出信号に応答して前記コンタクタ(8)をオフにするコンタクタ開閉手段とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記検出回路が、
前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)と前記バッテリ(4)との間を接続する電力線のうち、前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)に接続される正側電力線同士を接続する抵抗(R1)と、
前記第1の端子(TA1)および前記第2の端子(TA2)に接続される負側電力線同士を接続する抵抗(R2)と、
前記第1の端子(TA1)に接続される前記電力線に並列に接続された発光素子(82)、および該発光素子(82)と対で設けられる受光素子(83)とからなるフォトカプラ(81)とを備え、
前記コンタクタ開閉手段が前記受光素子(83)のオン動作に応答して前記コンタクタ(8)をオフにするように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項9記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記検出回路によって前記短絡が検出されると、インジケータまたはスピーカによる警告手段を作動させることを特徴とする請求項9または10記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。
- 前記間隙(73)の両側に、前記高電圧領域(71)と前記低電圧領域とを絶縁する絶 縁壁(70)が設けられており、
前記高電圧の電力ライン用端子(T1〜T4)のうちのマイナス電力ライン用端子(T 1,T2)が、前記絶縁壁(70)に近接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1 ないし11のいずれかに記載の電動車両の充電制御装置。 - 前記間隙(73)の両側に、前記高電圧領域(71)と前記低電圧領域とを絶縁する絶 縁壁(70)が設けられており、
前記高電圧の電力ライン用端子(T1〜T4)のうちのマイナス電力ライン用端子(T 1,T2)が、前記絶縁壁(70)に近接して配置されており、
前記温度センサ(14)が、前記マイナス電力ライン用端子(T1,T2)を挟んで、 前記絶縁壁(70)の反対側に配設されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電動車 両の充電制御装置。
