Description
FeSO4 7905kgを装入し、水で体積53.3m3に溶解し、該溶液を14℃に冷却し、かつこの溶液にMgSO4・7H2O 1000kgを添加した。次いで該装入物を14℃で溶液としてのNaOH5056kgを約300g/L用いて希釈し、かつ引き続き空気4000m3/hで析出度が>99.5%になるまで酸化した。該バッチをフィルタープレスにより濾液の残留導電率が1000μS/cm未満になるまで洗浄し、かつペーストを孔径7mmを有する多孔板にプレスして通過させ、かつストランドへと成形した。該ストランドをバンド型乾燥機上で残留湿分約3%に乾燥させた。生成物はx線回折図によれば100%まで極めて小さい針状物を有するα−FeOOHからなっていた。たとえば倍率60000:1での走査型電子顕微鏡による撮影から測定により針状物の幅は30〜50nmが測定された。針状物の長さは一義的に確認することができなかった。というのも針状物は著しく凝集していたからである。BETによる比表面積は145m2/gであった。摩耗値は30分後に6%にすぎなかった。
FeOOH 50g/Lの固体含有率を有するBayferrox (R) 920の懸濁液1LにMgSO4溶液(100g/L)569mLを添加し、引き続き撹拌下で24%のNaOH溶液173gを添加し、かつ15分間、後攪拌した。黄色の懸濁液をヌッチェの上で濾液の残留導電率が1mS/cmになるまで洗浄し、フィルターケーキを乾燥室中75℃で残留水分が2%未満になるまで乾燥させた。生成物を0.5〜2mmの粒径に造粒し、かつ粒状物をヒ素の吸着のために使用した。
アルカリ性のナノ粒子状α−FeOOHのシードの懸濁液(固体含有率:FeOOH 5.26g/L、NaOH1.14%)950gに、撹拌下でAl2(SO4)3溶液(Al2O3 100g/L)46mLを添加し、かつ15分間、後攪拌した。褐色の懸濁液をヌッチェ上で濾液の残留導電率が1mS/cmになるまで洗浄し、フィルターケーキを乾燥室中75℃で残留水分が2%未満になるまで乾燥させた。生成物を0.5〜2mmの粒径に粉砕し、かつ粒状物をヒ素の吸着のために使用した。
Claims (12)
- 元素Al又はMgの酸化物および/または(オキシ)水酸化物と接着されているα−FeOOH粒子からなる片状の吸着媒体。
- 前記片状の吸着媒体が、0.5〜20mmの範囲の大きさの粒度を有している、請求項1に記載の片状の吸着媒体。
- 前記α−FeOOH粒子が、4nm〜50nmの針状物の幅を有している、請求項1又は2に記載の片状の吸着媒体。
- 前記α−FeOOH粒子が、50〜500m2/gのBET表面積を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の片状の吸着媒体。
- 前記α−FeOOH粒子が、80〜200m2/gのBET表面積を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の片状の吸着媒体。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の片状の吸着媒体を製造する方法において
(a)α−FeOOHのアルカリ性懸濁液を装入し、懸濁しているα−FeOOHの粒子上に、Al(OH)3、Mg(OH)2またはこれらのエージング生成物もしくは脱水したその後の生成物の十分に難溶性の沈殿物が、堆積するように、Al3+、Mg2+の水性の塩もしくはその混合物を添加し、そして、
(b1)該懸濁液を乾燥させて固体の状態が得られ、かつ固体の材料を引き続き機械的に所望の形状および/または大きさへと粉砕するか、または
(b2)該懸濁液を場合により前乾燥した後、半固体の状態で機械的に形状付与し、かつ引き続き(さらに)乾燥させて固体の状態が得られる
ことを特徴とする、前記吸着媒体の製造方法。 - 請求項6の製造方法により得られる片状の吸着媒体。
- 気体を浄化するための、請求項1〜5のいずれか又は請求項7に記載の片状の吸着媒体の使用。
- 液体を浄化するための、請求項1〜5のいずれか又は請求項7に記載の片状の吸着媒体の使用。
- 水処理のための、請求項1〜5のいずれか又は請求項7に記載の片状の吸着媒体の使用。
- 重金属、ならびにリン化合物、アンチモン化合物、ベリリウム化合物、セレン化合物、テルル化合物ならびにシアノ化合物を水から除去するための、請求項1〜5のいずれか又は請求項7に記載の片状の吸着媒体の使用。
- ヒ素化合物を水から除去するための、請求項1〜5のいずれか又は請求項7に記載の片状の吸着媒体の使用。
