コントローラを設定するためのコンピュータプログラム製品であって、コントローラは、出力信号を生成する複数の圧力感知領域を有しており、出力信号は、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに加えられる圧力の経時変化を単調に表現しており、さらに複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに加えられる圧力の1以上の方向を表現しており、コントローラはさらに、出力信号を受信して、受信したことに応じて制御情報を生成するプロセッサを有しており、コンピュータプログラム製品は、コンピュータプログラム命令を格納している1以上のコンピュータ可読格納媒体を備えており、コンピュータプログラム命令が1以上のコンピューティングデバイスによって実行されると、1以上のコンピューティングデバイスは、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについて1以上の方向のそれぞれの圧力感度を設定するように前記プロセッサをプログラミングして、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応する制御情報を、1以上のデスティネーションプロセスまたは1以上のデスティネーションデバイスにマッピングすることによって、コントローラによる前記1以上のデスティネーションプロセスまたは1以上のデスティネーションデバイスの制御を円滑化してよい。コンピュータプログラム命令はさらに、コンピュータプログラム命令を実行している1以上のコンピューティングデバイスに、プロセッサをプログラミングさせて、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについての制御情報に対応する、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについての設定群を保存してよい。コンピュータプログラム命令はさらに、コンピュータプログラム命令を実行している1以上のコンピューティングデバイスに、プロセッサをプログラミングさせて、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについて1以上の設定群を追加で保存し、追加で保存される1以上の設定群はそれぞれ、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについての別の制御情報に対応していてよい。コンピュータプログラム命令はさらに、コンピュータプログラム命令を実行している1以上のコンピューティングデバイスに、プロセッサをプログラミングさせて、複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについての第2の設定群をまとめて第2のシーンとして保存してよい。
Claims (21)
- 基板と、
前記基板上に配置されている複数の圧力感知領域と、
プロセッサと
を備えるコントローラであって、
前記複数の圧力感知領域はそれぞれ、1以上のセンサが対応付けられており、前記1以上のセンサは、対応付けられている前記圧力感知領域を介して前記1以上のセンサに加えられる圧力の経時変化を単調に表現する1以上の出力信号を生成し、
前記プロセッサは、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応付けられている前記1以上のセンサから前記1以上の出力信号を受信して、受信したことに応じて制御情報を生成し、
前記プロセッサは、更にそれぞれの圧力感知領域に対する前記制御情報を前記圧力感知領域に対応付けられている複数の事前設定された制御機能のうち選択された1つにマッピングし、
それぞれの前記事前設定された制御機能は、前記コントローラと通信する1以上のプロセスまたはデバイスの処理を制御するためのものであり、
前記プロセッサは、更に前記圧力感知領域に対応付けられた前記事前設定された制御機能を含む設定群をまとめて複数の設定群を形成するように構成され、
前記複数の設定群の中から1つの設定群を選択するように構成されるナビゲーション制御と、
前記1以上のプロセスまたはデバイスと通信するインターフェースと、を
備える
コントローラ。 - 前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応付けられている前記1以上のセンサは、2以上のセンサを含み、
前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応付けられている前記2以上のセンサが生成する前記1以上の出力信号は、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに加えられる前記圧力の1以上の方向を表現する請求項1に記載のコントローラ。 - 前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに加えられる前記圧力の前記1以上の方向は、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれの表面と相対的に決まり、時計回り方向の回転、反時計回り方向の回転、第1の軸に沿った第1の直線状の方向、および、第2の軸に沿った第2の直線状の方向を含む請求項2に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対する前記1以上の出力信号は、対応付けられている前記2以上のセンサに対応する複数の出力信号を含み、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対する前記複数の出力信号はそれぞれ、前記圧力感知領域に加えられる前記圧力の前記1以上の方向に対する貢献を表現する請求項2に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記プロセッサはさらに、前記複数の圧力感知領域のうち複数の互いに隣接する圧力感知領域に対応付けられているセンサから受信する出力信号を処理して、前記複数の互いに隣接する圧力感知領域のいずれがアクティブ化されたかを判断する請求項1に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記制御情報の少なくとも一部は、電子楽器デジタルインターフェース(MIDI)メッセージを含み、前記コントローラはさらに、前記プロセッサから外部MIDIデバイスへのMIDIメッセージの通信を円滑化するMIDIインターフェースを備える請求項1に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記制御情報は、電子楽器デジタルインターフェース(MIDI)メッセージまたはイーサネット(登録商標)メッセージの一方または両方を含む

- 前記プロセッサは、一連の複数の前記シーンを一のセットリストとして保存するようにプログラム可能である請求項9に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記セットリストの前記複数のシーンにおいてナビゲーションし易くするナビゲーション制御をさらに備える請求項10に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記プロセッサはさらに、前記複数のシーンのうち第1のシーンから離れるナビゲーションの場合に前記第1のシーンの最後の状態を保存して、前記第1のシーンに戻るナビゲーションの場合に前記第1のシーンの前記最後の状態に戻る請求項11に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応付けられている前記1以上のセンサの圧力感度を設定するようにプログラム可能である請求項1に記載のコントローラ。

前記コントローラはさらに、前記出力信号を受信して、受信したことに応じて制御情報を生成するプロセッサを有しており、
前記方法は、
前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれについて前記1以上の方向のそれぞれの圧力感度を設定するように前記プロセッサをプログラミングする段階と、
前記コントローラによって、前記コントローラのインターフェースを介して、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応する前記制御情報を、1以上のデスティネーションプロセスまたは1以上のデスティネーションデバイスの複数の事前設定された制御機能にマッピングするように前記プロセッサをプログラムする段階と、
それぞれの前記圧力感知領域に対して、前記圧力感知領域に対応付けられた複数の前記事前設定された制御機能のうちの1つを選択するように前記プロセッサをプログラムする段階と、
前記圧力感知領域に対応付けられた前記事前設定された制御機能を含む設定群をまとめて複数の設定群を形成するよう前記プロセッサをプログラムする段階と、
前記複数の設定群から1つの設定群を選択するナビゲーション制御をするように前記プロセッサをプログラムする段階と
を備える方法。 - 前記プロセッサをプログラミングして、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに対応付けられているステータス指示部を、対応付けられている前記圧力感知領域のアクティブ状態を表現するように、設定する段階を更に備える請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセッサをプログラミングして、前記圧力感知領域の全てについての前記事前設定された制御機能の前記設定群それぞれをシーンとして保存する段階を更に備える請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセッサをプログラミングして、一連の複数の前記シーンをセットリストとして保存する段階を更に備える請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれに加えられる前記圧力の前記1以上の方向は、前記複数の圧力感知領域のそれぞれの表面に対して相対的に決まり、時計回り方向の回転、反時計回り方向の回転、第1の軸に沿った第1の直線状の方向、および、第2の軸に沿った第2の直線状の方向を含む請求項15に記載の方法。
