Claims (4)
- エンジンの各気筒の排気ポートに接続する排気ガス入口部と、
各排気ガス入口部と連通して、各排気ガス入口部から入る排気ガスを集める主管部と、
集めた排気ガスの一部をEGRガスとして取り出すためのEGRガス取り出し部と、
残りの排気ガスを排出する排気ガス放出部とを備える、排気マニホールドにおいて、
前記主管部には、前記排気マニホールドの端部の排気ガス入口部と、前記端部の排気ガス入口部に隣接する排気ガス入口部との間であって、排気ガス入口部と反対側へ凸状に湾曲するとともに、その上部が下方へ凹む湾曲部が形成され、
該湾曲部には、前記EGRガス取り出し部が下方に延設され、
該EGRガス取り出し部の入口開口部分の中心は、前記主管部の長手方向の中心軸に対してオフセットして配置される、
ことを特徴とする排気マニホールド。 - 前記排気ガス放出部は、その開口部中心が前記主管部の長手方向の中心軸に対してオフセットした位置に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気マニホールド。
- 前記排気ガス放出部は、前記主管部の長手方向中央部に設けられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の排気マニホールド。
- 前記排気ガス放出部は、前記主管部においてEGRガス取り出し部が設けられる側と反対側の端部に設けられることを特徴する請求項2に記載の排気マニホールド。
