Description
本発明は、参照により全ての開示内容が本明細書の一部として援用される、2007年8月31日に出願の米国仮出願第60/969,396号に関連する。
少なくとも二つの光学的要素は、少なくとも二つの光学的要素の他方の第2の経路長の差違とは異なる、少なくとも二つの光学的要素の一方の第1の経路長の差違に影響を与える光学的厚さを有する、少なくとも二つの光学的要素を用いることができる。少なくとも二つの光学的要素のいずれかの間の光学的経路長の差違は、複数の第1の放射の自己干渉のスペクトルの変調の概略の整数を生成することができる。整数は、光学的要素の間の経路長の差違の任意の組み合わせとは異なることができる。少なくとも一つの電磁放射を生成するための励起放射を提供することもできる。励起放射を受けて、励起放射に基づいて試料の少なくとも一つの部分の異なる位置に関連する放射を提供することができる。
Ep(x、y、λ)=I0(λ)eiφ 0 (λ)
とフラット(flat)とすることができる。位相板(30)は場(field)を遅延させて、位相の異なる複数の部分にすることができる。
Er(x、y、λ)=Epeiφ(x、y、λ)
を位置(x、y)及び波長λにおける波長板の光学的厚さから決定することができる。図12の代表的な実施の形態のシステムに示すように、レンズ(31)は、場を受け入れるファイバの先端/空間フィルタ(60)に合焦する。受け入れるファイバの先端/空間フィルタ(60)における場Ef(x、y、λ)の分布は、Esのフーリエ変換によって決定することができる。遅延されていない場Er0のこの代表的な場の分散Ef0は、受け入れるファイバのモードとして定義することができる。剪断された場とファイバモードパターンとの間の場カップリング効率は、重なり積分として定義してもよい。
Claims (26)
- 試料の少なくとも一つの部分から少なくとも一つの電磁放射を取得するように構成された装置であって、該装置は、
前記少なくとも一つの電磁放射を、互いに異なる断面を有する複数の第1の放射に分離するように構成された、少なくとも一つの第1の構成部であって、前記複数の第1の放射の他の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延とは異なる、前記複数の第1の放射の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延を与えるように構成された、少なくとも一つの第1の構成部と、
前記複数の第1の放射の少なくとも一つを受光し、前記受光した前記複数の第1の放射の少なくとも一つを、前記受光した前記複数の第1の放射の少なくとも一つ、の波長に従って、第2の放射に分離するように構成された、少なくとも一つの第2の構成部と、
前記複数の第1の放射又は前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つに空間フィルタリングを行うように構成された、少なくとも一つの第3の構成部と、
前記第2の放射を検出し、前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分の位置に関する情報を、前記複数の第1の放射の自己干渉の少なくとも一つの特性の関数として生成するように構成された、少なくとも一つの第4の構成部と、を備えた装置。 - 前記位置の情報は、前記少なくとも一つの部分の横方向の位置又は深さの少なくとも一つを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの特性は、前記自己干渉の位相又は前記自己干渉の強度の少なくとも一つを含み、
前記情報は、前記複数の第1の放射の前記自己干渉のスペクトル変調に基づいて生成されることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つの第1の構成部は少なくとも二つの光学的要素を有し、
前記少なくとも二つの光学的要素は、前記少なくとも二つの光学的要素の他方の第2の経路長の差違とは異なる、前記少なくとも二つの光学的要素の一方の第1の経路長の差違に影響を与える光学的厚さを有する、請求項1記載の装置。 - 前記少なくとも二つの光学的要素のいずれかの間の光学的経路長の差違は、前記複数の第1の放射の自己干渉のスペクトルの変調の整数を生成する、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記整数は、前記少なくとも二つの光学的要素の間の経路長の差違の任意の組み合わせごとに異なる、請求項5記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの電磁放射を生成するための励起放射を提供するように構成された少なくとも一つの第5の構成部をさらに備えた、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記励起放射を受光し、前記励起放射に基づいて前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分の異なる位置に関連する放射を提供するように構成された、少なくとも一つの第7の構成部をさらに備えた、請求項7記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの第3の構成部は、ピンホール、ピンホールアレイ、光ファイバ、ファイバアレイの少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記光ファイバは、単一モードのファイバであり、前記ファイバアレイは、単一モードの複数のファイバである、請求項9記載の装置。
- 前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分の異なる位置と関連する放射を提供するように構成された、少なくとも一つの第6の構成部をさらに備えた、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの第6の構成部は、走査ミラーを含む、請求項11記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの電磁放射は、前記試料の複数の部分から提供される複数の放射を含む、請求項1記載の装置。

前記第1の放射は、前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分に関連する第2の放射を、前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つ、の波長に従って分離することによって、生成され、
前記第2の放射は、前記試料から提供される放射を、(i)互いに異なる断面と、(ii)前記第2の放射の他の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延とは異なる、前記第2の放射の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延と、を有するように分割することによって生成され、
前記第2の放射は自己干渉し、
前記第1の放射又は前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つに空間フィルタリングを行うように構成された、少なくとも一つのさらなる構成部を備えた、装置。 - 前記少なくとも一つの処理構成部は、前記データのフーリエ変換を実行することによって、前記情報を生成するように構成された、請求項15記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの処理構成部は、前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つの干渉の位相を生成するためにフーリエ変換を実行するように構成され、
前記位相は、前記試料の少なくとも一つの位置に関連する、請求項16記載の装置。 - 前記情報は、前記第2の放射の前記少なくとも一つの干渉の前記位相又は前記振幅の少なくとも一つに基づいて生成される、請求項17記載の装置。

- 試料の少なくとも一つの部分に関連する情報を提供する方法であって、該方法は、
前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分から受光した少なくとも一つの電磁放射を、互いに異なる断面を有する複数の第1の放射に分離し、前記複数の第1の放射の他の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延とは異なる、前記複数の第1の放射の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延を与えるステップと、
前記複数の第1の放射の少なくとも一つを受光し、前記受光した前記複数の第1の放射の少なくとも一つを、前記受光した前記複数の第1の放射の少なくとも一つ、の波長に従って、第2の放射に分離するステップと、
前記複数の第1の放射又は前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つを空間フィルタリングするステップと、
前記第2の放射を検出し、前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分の位置に関する情報を、前記複数の第1の放射の自己干渉の少なくとも一つの特性の関数として生成するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 試料の少なくとも一つの部分に関連する情報を提供する方法であって、該方法は、
第1の放射に関連するデータを取得するステップと、
前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つ、の波長に従って前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分に関連する第2の放射を分離することによって、前記データに基づいた前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分の位置に関する情報を生成するステップを含み、
前記生成するステップでは、前記第2の放射は、前記試料から提供される放射を、(i)互いに異なる断面と、(ii)前記第2の放射の他の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延とは異なる、前記第2の放射の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延と、を有するように分割することによって生成され、前記第2の放射は、自己干渉し、前記第1の放射又は前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つは、空間フィルタリングが行われる、方法。 - 試料の少なくとも一つの部分に関連する情報を提供するソフトウェアのプログラムを含む、コンピュータがアクセス可能な媒体であって、
前記ソフトウェアが、処理構成部によって実行されるとき、
前記処理構成部は、
第1の放射に関連するデータを取得する工程と、
前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つ、の波長に従って前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分に関連する第2の放射を分離することによって、前記データに基づいた前記試料の少なくとも一つの部分の位置に関する情報を生成する工程を含む手順を実行し、
前記生成する工程では、前記第2の放射は、前記試料から提供される放射を、(i)互いに異なる断面と、(ii)前記第2の放射の他の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延とは異なる、前記第2の放射の一つ、の断面にわたる位相遅延と、を有するように分割することによって生成され、前記第2の放射は、自己干渉し、前記第1の放射又は前記第2の放射の少なくとも一つは、空間フィルタリングが行われる、コンピュータがアクセス可能な媒体。 - 前記少なくとも一つの第1の構成部はさらに、前記複数の第1の放射を略同一の方向に沿って伝播するように構成される、請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの処理構成部はさらに、前記第2の放射を略同一の方向に沿って伝播するように構成される、請求項15記載の装置。
- 前記複数の第1の放射は、前記少なくとも一つの電磁放射のそれぞれの幾何学的部分に対応する、請求項1記載の装置。
