Description
熱可塑性樹脂の原料は本実施例に限定されない。被加工物の材質や形状等に応じて、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、熱可塑性エラストマー、等公知の物質より適宜選択することができる。
前記実施形態において、ポリ塩化ビニルの重合物粒子にZEST 1300Z(新第一塩ビ(株)製)を、可塑剤にビニサイザー90(花王(株)製)を、形成助剤にNS#400(日東粉化工業(株)製)を、砥材にGC#4000(新東工業(株)製)を使用した。これらを原料とし、前記実施形態の方法にて得られたブラスト投射材を、ブラスト加工装置MY−30(新東工業(株)製)を用いて、φ40mmの被加工面を持ち、硬さがHRC50〜55(JISG0202)のS55C熱処理品に噴射した。なお噴射条件は、噴射圧力は0.3MPa、ノズルと被加工面の距離は100mm、ノズルと被加工面の角度は45度とした。

Claims (6)
- 被加工物を鏡面化、或いは光沢面化をブラスト加工で行う為のブラスト加工用投射材であって、熱可塑性樹脂の粒子の表面に砥材が担持されている研磨粒子からなり、前記研磨粒子同士を結合させた結合体として形成されており、該結合体の内部に空隙を有していることを特徴とする、ブラスト加工用投射材。
- 前記熱可塑性樹脂が軟質ポリ塩化ビニルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブラスト加工用投射材。
- 前記投射材の径が0.01〜3mmであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のブラスト加工用投射材。
- 前記投射材の内部に、少なくとも一部が連通構造をもつ空隙を有していることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載のブラスト加工用投射材。
- 前記投射材に占める前記空隙の割合が、70体積%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれかに記載のブラスト加工用投射材。
- 請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載のブラスト加工用投射材に、研磨助剤となる液体を含浸させて被加工物に噴射することを特徴とするブラスト加工方法。
