本発明の実施形態に係る、液晶表示装置について図1、図2A、図2B、図2Cを用いて説明を行う。
参考例1では、液晶配向膜109として下記のものを用いた。液晶配向膜109の組成以外は前記実施例1と同様の方法で液晶表示装置を作成した。
比較例1では、液晶配向膜109として下記のものを用いた。液晶配向膜109の組成以外は前記実施例1と同様の方法で液晶表示装置を作成した。
実施例2では、液晶配向膜109として下記のものを用いた。液晶配向膜109の組成以外は前記実施例1と同様の方法で液晶表示装置を作成した。
参考例2では、液晶配向膜109として下記のものを用いた。液晶配向膜109の組成以外は前記実施例1と同様の方法で液晶表示装置を作成した。
比較例2では、液晶配向膜109として下記のものを用いた。液晶配向膜109の組成以外は前記実施例1と同様の方法で液晶表示装置を作成した。
Claims (7)
- 少なくとも一方が透明な一対の基板と、前記一対の基板間に配置された液晶層と、前記一対の基板の少なくとも一方の基板に形成され、前記液晶層に電界を印加するための電極群と、前記電極群に接続された複数のアクティブ素子と、前記一対の基板の少なくとも一方の基板に配置された液晶配向膜とを含む液晶表示装置であって、
前記液晶配向膜は、下記化学式(1)乃至(7)で示される化合物群Aより選ばれる一種以上のテトラカルボン酸二無水物を用いて形成されるポリイミドを含み、光配向処理によって形成されている、
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 上記ジアルキルアミノ基は、いずれのアルキル基も炭素数3以下のジアルキルアミノ基である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 上記ジアルキルアミノ基は、ジメチルアミノ基である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 少なくとも一方が透明な一対の基板と、前記一対の基板間に配置された液晶層と、前記一対の基板の少なくとも一方の基板に形成され、前記液晶層に電界を印加するための電極群と、前記電極群に接続された複数のアクティブ素子と、前記一対の基板の少なくとも一方の基板に配置された液晶配向膜とを含む液晶表示装置であって、
前記液晶配向膜は、下記化学式(8)乃至(10)で示される化合物群Bより選ばれた一種以上のジアミンを用いて形成されるポリイミドを含み、光配向処理によって形成されている、
ことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
