Description
本発明の発明者らは、電極、分離膜、及び前記電極に連結された電極リードの備えられた単位セルに金属シート層を追加的に配置すれば、貫通、衝撃、圧搾、その他の電気的衝撃による発熱を最小化することができることに着眼して本発明を完成させるに至った。
単位セルの製造において、単位セルの内部に導電性シート層としてアルミニウムシート層を挿入しない以外は、実施例1と同じ方法で単位セル及びリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
充電されたポーチ型リチウムイオン二次電池に対して広い面を上に向けて位置させた後、直径5mmの鋼鉄からなる針状体を使用して一定の速度で広い面の中心部を突いて、針状体に電池を貫通させて貫通性評価を行った後、その結果を表1にまとめた。
Claims (6)
- 電極及び分離膜を備える反復単位が複数個積層された電極積層体と、
前記電極積層体内の特定層の間に位置し、電極リードと電気的に連結された二つ以上の導電性シート層と、を備え、
前記導電性シート層の位置は上下の最外側の電極と分離膜との間であり、
前記二つ以上の導電性シート層は、電極リードの反対側で電気的に互いに連結されたものであることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池用単位セル。 - 導電性シート層の材質は、アルミニウム、銅、ニッケル、鉄、亜鉛、鉛及びチタンからなる群から選択される一つ以上の金属であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用単位セル。
- 導電性シート層が陽極電極と接触する場合には、導電性シート層の材質はアルミニウムであり、導電性シート層が陰極電極と接触する場合には、導電性シート層の材質は銅であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用単位セル。
- 導電性シート層は、複数枚から構成されたシート層であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用単位セル。
- 導電性シート層の厚さは0.001ないし200mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウムイオン二次電池用単位セル。
- 請求項1ないし請求項5のうち何れか1項に記載の単位セルを備えたリチウムイオン二次電池。
