(式中、Lは反射面と半透過面との間の光学的距離、mは次数(0または自然数)、Φは反射面で生じる反射光の位相シフトと、半透過面で生じる反射光の位相シフトとの和(rad)、λは半透過面の側から取り出したい光のスペクトルのピーク波長をそれぞれ表す。なお、数1においてLおよびλは単位が共通すればよいが、例えば(nm)を単位とする。)

上記実施の形態と同様にして有機発光素子10Bを作製した。
正孔注入層16Eの厚みを表1に示したように変化させたことを除いては、実施例1−1と同様にして有機発光素子10Bを作製した。得られた実施例2−1〜2−4の有機発光素子10Bについて、電流密度10mA/cm2 における駆動電圧および発光効率を調べた。その結果を表1に合わせて示す。
電子注入層16AのLiF膜の厚みを表2に示したように変化させたことを除いては、実施例1−1と同様にして有機発光素子10Bを作製した。得られた実施例3−1〜3−8の有機発光素子10Bについて、電流密度10mA/cm2 における駆動電圧および発光効率を調べた。その結果を表2に合わせて示す。
電子注入層16Aの構成を異ならせたことを除いては、実施例1−1と同様にして有機発光素子10Bを作製した。すなわち、実施例4−1では、電子注入層16Aを、厚み0.6nmのLiF膜により構成した。実施例4−2では、陰極14の側から、厚み2nmのMg−Ag合金膜と、厚み0.6nmのLiF膜とをこの順に積層した構造とした。実施例4−3では、陰極14の側から、厚み2nmのMg−Ag合金膜と、厚み0.6nmのLiF膜と、厚みが5nmでありAlq3 にマグネシウム(Mg)を5体積%の濃度で添加した混合膜とをこの順に積層した構造とした。実施例4−4では、陰極14の側から、厚み2nmのMg−Ag合金膜と、厚みが5nmでありAlq3 にマグネシウム(Mg)を5体積%の濃度で添加した混合膜と、厚み0.6nmのLiF膜とをこの順に積層した構造とした。実施例4−5では、陰極14の側から、厚み2nmのMg−Ag合金膜と、厚みが5nmでありAlq3 にマグネシウム(Mg)を5体積%の濃度で添加した混合膜とをこの順に積層した構造とした。なお、電子輸送層16Bの厚みは、実施例4−1,4−2では20nm、実施例4−3〜4−5では15nmとした。
Claims (6)
- 陰極と、有機材料よりなり、少なくとも電子輸送層、発光層および正孔輸送層を前記陰極側からこの順に含む複数の層と、マグネシウム(Mg)と銀(Ag)とを含む合金よりなる金属薄膜により構成された陽極とをこの順に備え、前記発光層で発生した光に対して前記陰極は反射性、前記陽極は半透過性である積層構造と、
前記発光層において発生した光を前記陰極と前記陽極との間で共振させる共振器構造と
を備え、
前記正孔輸送層は、前記電子輸送層よりも厚く、
前記複数の層のうち前記陽極に接する層は、化1で表されるピラジン誘導体または金属酸化物により構成されている
有機発光素子。
- 前記金属薄膜の光吸収率α(%)は、数1を満たす
請求項1記載の有機発光素子。
