Description
接合面積割合[%]=フィラメント径[mm]×(1000÷フィラメントピッチ[mm])×1000÷(1000×1000)×100
接合面積割合は、平面方向からみたフィラメントの占有面積割合である。上記の式は、1000mm×1000mmのサンプルにおいて計算する式である。(1000÷フィラメントピッチ)は、幅1000mm中のフィラメントの本数であり、これにフィラメント径をかけ、長さ1000mmをかけることにより、フィラメントの占有面積が求められ、これをサンプルの面積1000mm×1000mmで割った値を百分率で表したものである。
図4に示す装置を用いて図1及び図2に示す構造の透湿性伸縮シートを製造した。第1シート11としては、坪量24g/m2の透湿フィルムを用いた。第2シート12としては、坪量20g/m2のエアスルー不織布を用いた。この不織布の構成繊維は直径19μm、最大伸度180%、繊維長44mmの芯鞘型複合繊維(芯:PET、鞘:PE)であった。弾性フィラメント13の原料樹脂としては、SEPS樹脂(重量平均分子量5万、MFR60g/10min(230℃、2.16kg、JIS K7210:1999))からなるエラストマーを用いた。紡糸条件は、紡糸ヘッド17の温度310℃、紡糸ノズル16の径400μm、紡糸ノズル16のピッチ1.5mmとした。弾性フィラメント13の直径は120μmであった。フィラメントのみかけ坪量(サンプル中のフィラメント重量/サンプリングシート面積)は10g/m2、延伸倍率11倍であった。延伸倍率は、(ノズル孔径/弾性発現処理前繊維径)で定義される。弾性発現処理加工は、歯と歯底が軸長方向に交互に形成された一対の歯溝ロール20,21を備えた弾性発現処理装置22を用いて行った。歯間及び歯底間のピッチはそれぞれ2.0mmであった(噛み合った状態での歯間のピッチPは1.5mmとなる)。上下の歯溝ロールの押し込み量を調整し、延伸倍率2.3倍にて複合体19を、弾性フィラメント13の延びる方向に弾性発現処理させた。これにより弾性フィラメント13の延びる方向に伸縮する坪量57g/m2の非透水性の透湿性伸縮シート10が得られた。得られた透湿性伸縮シート10は、弾性発現処理時の延伸に起因する、縞模様を呈していた。
実施例1で得られた透湿性伸縮シートについて、30%戻り強度/30%行き強度、30%戻り強度及び透湿度を以下の方法で測定した。それらの結果を以下の表1に示す。
透湿性伸縮シートを、その伸縮方向へ200mm、それと直交する方向へ50mmの大きさで切り出し試験片を得た。株式会社島津製作所:オートグラフ AG−IS 1kNに試験片をチャック間距離:150mmで装着した。試験片をその伸縮方向へ300mm/分の速度で伸長させた。30%伸長させた時点での荷重を記録し、その値を30%行き強度とした。引き続き試験片を70%まで伸長させ、次いで戻り方向(収縮方向)へ同速度で収縮させ、基の長さに対して30%伸長させた状態とした。その時点の荷重を記録し、30%戻り強度とした。
透湿度はJIS Z−0208に準じ、温度30℃±0.5℃、湿度90±12%RHの環境下で測定した。

Claims (3)
- 互いに交差せずに一方向に延びるように配列した多数の弾性フィラメントが、実質的に非伸長状態で、それらの全長にわたり、伸長可能な第1の非伸縮性透湿フィルムと、伸長可能な非伸縮性シートとの間に接合されている透湿性伸縮シートであって、
前記弾性フィラメントと、前記第1の非伸縮性透湿フィルム及び前記非伸縮性シートとの接合の接合面積が、透湿性伸縮シートの面積に対して1〜15%であり、
前記弾性フィラメントと直交した状態で結合している他の弾性フィラメントが存在していない透湿性伸縮シート。 - 前記伸長可能な非伸縮性シートが、伸長可能な非伸縮性不織布である請求項1記載の透湿性伸縮シート。
- 前記非伸縮性不織布はその構成繊維が、最大伸度が80〜800%である非弾性繊維を原料とするものである請求項2記載の透湿性伸縮シート。
