Claims (3)
- 電解質の両面に電極が設けられた電解質・電極構造体と波板形状の金属セパレータとが積層された積層体を備える燃料電池であって、
前記金属セパレータは、燃料ガス、酸化剤ガス、冷却媒体のそれぞれを前記積層体の積層方向に沿って流通させるための連通孔が形成され、
該金属セパレータの一端面に、前記連通孔の近傍に設けられた第1バッファ部と、前記第1バッファ部に連通し前記燃料ガス又は前記酸化剤ガスが流通する流路とを含む反応ガス流路が形成され、
該金属セパレータの前記一端面の裏面に、前記連通孔の近傍に設けられた第2バッファ部と、前記第2バッファ部に連通し前記燃料ガス、前記酸化剤ガス又は前記冷却媒体が流通する流路とを含む流体流路が形成され、
前記第1バッファ部は、プレス成形によって中間高さ部に一体的に連なるように形成され、且つ前記中間高さ部から前記反応ガス流路側に突出して連続ガイド流路を構成し、
前記第2バッファ部は、前記第1バッファ部が形成された部位の裏面に、前記プレス成形によって前記中間高さ部に一体的に連なるように形成され、且つ前記中間高さ部から前記流体流路側に突出する複数のエンボス部によってエンボス流路を構成することを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記第1バッファ部は、前記連続ガイド流路を構成する線状ガイド突起部が、前記反応ガス流路を構成する線状流路突起部に接続されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池において、前記中間高さ部から前記連続ガイド流路の深さは、前記中間高さ部から前記エンボス流路の深さよりも浅く設定されることを特徴とする燃料電池。
