Description
[希土類磁石の作製]
まず、第1〜第3の原料化合物として、下記表1に示す合金a1〜a6、合金b及び合金c1〜c2をそれぞれ準備した。これらは、各合金の原料金属を準備し、これらを用いて、合金a及び合金bはストリップキャスト法、合金cはアーク溶解による鋳造を行なうことにより製造した。なお、表中、「Bal.」は、他の構成元素の含有割合を除いた残部であることを意味する。
[特性評価]
Claims (3)
- 複数の原料化合物から構成される原料粉末を成形して成形体を得る成形工程と、
前記成形体を焼成する焼成工程と、を有しており、
前記原料化合物として、
第1の原料化合物:R1−T−B化合物及びR1R2−T−B化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物(但し、R1はYを含む軽希土類元素、R2は重希土類元素、Tは希土類元素を除く金属元素であって少なくともFeを含む元素である。)、
第2の原料化合物:R1−T化合物、R1R2−T化合物及びR2−T化合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の化合物、並びに、
第3の原料化合物:R 2 −B化合物又はR 2 −Al化合物であり、前記第1及び第2の原料化合物よりも融点が高い化合物を用いたこと、
を特徴とする希土類磁石の製造方法。 - 前記第3の原料化合物が、R 2 B 2 又はR 2 B 4 或いはR 2 2 Al又はR 2 Alで表される組成を有する化合物である、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の希土類磁石の製造方法。
- 前記成形工程の前に、複数の前記原料化合物をそれぞれ粉砕して混合することにより前記原料粉末を得る粉砕工程を有しており、
前記粉砕工程から前記焼成工程までの工程を、酸素濃度が100ppm以下である雰囲気下で行う、ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の希土類磁石の製造方法。
