Description
前記クリンパの円弧の長さcと、前記クリンパの中央部における前記円弧の接線に対する鉛直線とのなす角度θとで定義した指数a=c・cosθを用いて前記クリンパの形状を設計されたことを特徴とする端子圧着装置。
a<0.7であると、電線への端子金具の各圧着片の食い込みが不十分となり、端子金具と電線の導体との接触面積が減少し、接触信頼性が低下してしまう。
図1は本発明の一実施形態である端子圧着装置の正面図、図2は図1の圧着装置に用いるクリンパとアンビルとの外観斜視図、図3は図1の圧着装置の要部拡大図である。

ここで、指数aは、クリンパ19の円弧面の長さcと、クリンパ19の中央部eにおける円弧の接線に対する鉛直線とのなす角度θとで定義され、指数a=c・cosθである。

Claims (4)
- 電線が載置される湾曲した基板部及び当該基板部の両側縁にそれぞれ立ち上げられた一対の圧着片を有する端子金具を支持するアンビルと、前記アンビルとの間で前記端子金具の圧着片を押圧可能に配置され前記アンビルとの対向部に2つの円弧面からなるアーチ形状の加締め部が形成されたクリンパとを備え、前記アンビルと前記クリンパとにより前記圧着片を押圧し、前記端子金具に載置された電線に前記圧着片を圧着する端子圧着装置において、
前記クリンパの円弧の長さcと、前記クリンパの中央部における前記円弧の接線に対する鉛直線とのなす角度θとで定義した指数a=c・cosθを用いて前記クリンパの形状を設計されたことを特徴とする端子圧着装置。 - 前記指数a=c・cosθが、0.7≦a≦0.85であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の端子圧着装置。
- 断面積が0.08〜0.13mm2の前記電線に前記端子金具を圧着することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の端子圧着装置。
- 銅合金製の前記電線に前記端子金具を圧着することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか記載の端子圧着装置。
