Claims (4)
- 筒部と底部とを有する自動変速機用ピストンであって、
前記筒部は、互いに噛み合う平行軸歯車対の一方の歯車の径方向外側に配置されており、
該筒部には、該平行軸歯車対の互いの噛み合い部が配置される切り欠きが形成されているとともに、該筒部の内径側に配置された前記一方の歯車の回転速度を検出する回転速度センサ用の貫通孔が形成されており、
前記貫通穴は、前記ピストンの前記底部とは反対側の端面に対して閉じられた貫通穴であって、該ピストンの軸心に対して前記切り欠きとは反対側に形成されている
ことを特徴とする自動変速機用ピストン。 - 前記ピストンは、プレス加工により成形されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1の自動変速機用ピストン。
- 前記ピストンは、前記筒部の軸方向の両端のうちの前記底部とは反対側の一端から径方向外側に延び出すフランジ部を含み、該フランジ部が前記自動変速機に設けられた摩擦板に対向していることを特徴とする請求項1の自動変速機用ピストン。
- 前記貫通穴の軸心方向寸法は、前記回転速度センサの該貫通穴を通過する部分の寸法よりも大きく設定されており、
該貫通穴は、前記一方の歯車を潤滑する潤滑油が前記筒部の径方向外側へ流出させるための潤滑孔としても機能している
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1の自動変速機用ピストン。
