Description
図1は本発明の実施例1に係る電池システムの構成ブロック図である。図1に示す電池システムは、例えば、電気自動車などのバッテリに用いられ、電池モジュール1aと電池モジュール1bとを直列に接続して構成される。なお、電池モジュールは、3個以上の電池モジュールを直列に接続して構成されても良い。
図3に示す電池システムは、図1に示す実施例1の電池システムに対して、さらに、電池モジュール1a−1,1b−1毎に、複数の単セルの温度を検出する温度検出部としてのサーミスタ等の温度センサ21a,21bを設けている。
図4は本発明の実施例3に係る電池システムの構成ブロック図である。図4に示す実施例3の電池システムは、図1に示す実施例1の電池システムの構成に対して、さらに、電池モジュール1a−2,1b−2が、複数の単セル3a1〜3an,3b1〜3bnに直列に接続され且つ電池モジュール1a−2,1b−2間の組み立て時に複数の単セル3a1〜3an,3b1〜3bnの放電を禁止するための放電禁止スイッチ23a,23bを有することを特徴とする。
図6は本発明の実施例4に係る電池システムの構成ブロック図である。図6に示す電池システムにおいて、電池モジュール1a−4,1b−4は、単電池電圧スイッチ7a,7bと、モジュール監視制御部9a−4,9b−4と、保護信号用レベル変換回路11a−4,11b−4と、通信用レベル変換回路14a,14bとを有する。
図9は本発明の実施例5に係る電池システムの構成ブロック図である。図9に示す電池システムは、直列に接続された電池モジュール1a−6,1b−6と、電池システム全体の監視制御を行うマスター部8とを直列に接続してなる。
図10は本発明の実施例6に係る電池システムの構成ブロック図である。図10に示す電池システムは、直列に接続された電池モジュール1a−7,1b−7と、電池システム全体の監視制御を行うマスター部8aとを直列に接続してなる。
Claims (4)
- 1以上の単セルと、前記1以上の単セルの各電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、前記電圧検出部で検出された前記各電圧の電圧情報を出力するとともに前記電圧情報が所定値になった場合に電源ラインを遮断するための信号を遮断手段に出力する監視制御部と、第1コネクタおよび前記第1コネクタとは別に設けられた第2コネクタとを有し、前記第1コネクタ及び前記第2コネクタを介して第1及び第2の他の電池モジュールと自己の電池モジュールとの間で前記電圧情報の送受信を行なう通信回路とを有し、
前記通信回路は、前記1以上の単セルの正極に一端が接続された第1抵抗と、
一端が前記第1抵抗の他端に接続され、他端に前記第1コネクタから前記電圧情報が入力される第2抵抗と、
ドレインが前記1以上の単セルの正極に接続され、ゲートが前記第1抵抗と前記第2抵抗とが接続される配線に接続され、前記第1コネクタからの前記電圧情報が前記第2抵抗を介して前記ゲートに入力されたときオンする第1スイッチ素子と、
一端が前記第1スイッチ素子のソースに接続され、他端が前記1以上の単セルの負極に接続された第3抵抗と、
一端が前記第2コネクタに接続される第4抵抗と、

前記通信回路は、前記1以上の単セルの負極に一端が接続された第1抵抗と、
一端が前記第1抵抗の他端に接続され、他端に前記第1コネクタから前記電圧情報が入力される第2抵抗と、
ゲートが前記第1抵抗と前記第2抵抗とが接続される配線に接続され、前記第1コネクタから前記電圧情報が前記第2抵抗を介して前記ゲートに入力されたときオンする第1スイッチ素子と、
前記自己の前記電池モジュールの前記電圧情報がゲートに入力されたときオンする第2スイッチ素子と、
一端が前記第2コネクタに接続される第3抵抗と、
ドレインが前記1以上の単セルの正極に接続され、ソースが第3抵抗の他端に接続され、前記第1スイッチ素子から出力される前記第1コネクタからの前記電圧情報と前記第2スイッチ素子から出力される前記自己の前記電池モジュールの前記電圧情報との論理和を前記第3抵抗を介して前記第2コネクタに出力する第3スイッチ素子と、
を有する電池モジュール。 - 1以上の単セルと、前記1以上の単セルの各電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、前記電圧検出部で検出された各電圧のいずれかの電圧が上限値になった場合に過充電禁止のための保護信号を出力するモジュール監視制御部と、第1コネクタおよび前記第1コネクタとは別に設けられた第2コネクタとを有し、前記第1コネクタ及び前記第2コネクタを介して第1及び第2の他の電池モジュールと自己の電池モジュールとの間で前記保護信号の送受信を行ない、前記電池モジュールに直列に接続され且つ前記保護信号により前記1以上の単セルの過充電を遮断する遮断手段に、前記保護信号を送信する送信手段とを有し、

前記自己の前記電池モジュールの前記保護信号がゲートに入力されたときオンする第2スイッチ素子と、
一端が前記第2コネクタに接続される第3抵抗と、
ドレインが前記1以上の単セルの正極に接続され、ソースが前記第3抵抗の他端に接続され、前記第1スイッチ素子から出力される前記第1コネクタからの前記保護信号と前記第2スイッチ素子から出力される前記自己の前記電池モジュールの前記保護信号との論理和を前記第3抵抗を介して前記第2コネクタに出力する第3スイッチ素子と、
を有する電池モジュール。 - 1以上の単セルと、前記1以上の単セルの各電圧を検出する電圧検出部と、前記電圧検出部で検出された各電圧のいずれかの電圧が下限値になった場合に過放電禁止のための保護信号を出力するモジュール監視制御部と、第1コネクタおよび前記第1コネクタとは別に設けられた第2コネクタとを有し、前記第1コネクタ及び前記第2コネクタを介して第1及び第2の他の電池モジュールと自己の電池モジュールとの間で前記保護信号の送受信を行ない、前記電池モジュールに直列に接続され且つ前記保護信号により前記1以上の単セルの過放電を遮断する遮断手段に、前記保護信号を送信する送信手段とを有し、
前記送信手段は、
前記1以上の単セルの負極に一端が接続された第1抵抗と、
一端が前記第1抵抗の他端に接続され、他端に前記第1コネクタから前記保護信号が入力される第2抵抗と、
ゲートが前記第1抵抗と前記第2抵抗とが接続される配線に接続され、前記第1コネクタから前記保護信号が前記第2抵抗を介して前記ゲートに入力されないときオンする第1スイッチ素子と、
前記自己の前記電池モジュールの前記保護信号がゲートに入力されないときオンする第2スイッチ素子と、
一端が前記第2コネクタに接続される第3抵抗と、
ドレインが前記1以上の単セルの正極に接続され、前記第1スイッチ素子から出力される前記第1コネクタからの前記保護信号と前記第2スイッチ素子から出力される前記自己の前記電池モジュールの前記保護信号との論理和を前記第3抵抗を介して前記第2コネクタに出力する第3スイッチ素子と、
を有する電池モジュール。
