Claims (6)
- 外部電源と接続され、車両に搭載された蓄電装置に充電用の電力を供給する電力ケーブルと、
前記電力ケーブルを介して車両に給電可能な電流容量に対応した制御信号を生成する信号生成回路と、
前記制御信号を前記信号生成回路の出力端子から車両に伝送する制御線と、
前記電力ケーブルと前記車両とが接続されているときに、前記外部電源と前記電力ケーブルとが接続されることによって第1のレベルとなっている前記制御信号の電圧レベルが、前記車両によって第2のレベルに切り替えられると、前記電力ケーブルから前記車両への給電を開始するように制御する給電制御部と、
前記外部電源と前記電力ケーブルとが接続されていない状態で、前記電力ケーブルと前記車両とが接続されたときに、前記制御線を介して車両側から印加される電圧を変化させるバイパス回路を、前記信号生成回路の前記出力端子とグランドの間に備えていることを特徴とする充電ケーブル。 - 請求項1記載の充電ケーブルを介して車両に搭載された蓄電装置へ充電制御する充電制御装置を備える車両充電システムであって、
前記充電制御装置は、前記制御線の信号レベルを段階的に変更可能なレベル切替部を備え、前記電力ケーブルと前記車両とが接続され、前記制御線を介して伝送される前記制御信号が前記第1のレベルであることを検知した後に、前記レベル切替部により前記制御信号を前記第2のレベルに切り替えて、前記電流容量に従って前記蓄電装置を充電する充電制御部と、
前記電力ケーブルと前記車両とが接続された場合に、前記制御線を介して印加した電圧が前記パイパス回路により変化すると、前記充電ケーブル側の前記制御線が断線していないと検出する状態検出部を備えていることを特徴とする車両充電システム。 - 前記状態検出部は、前記信号生成回路により前記第1のレベルの制御信号が生成されていると検出される場合に、前記レベル切替部により前記制御線の信号レベルを前記第2のレベルに低下した後に、前記制御線の信号レベルが一定レベルであれば、前記充電ケーブル側の前記制御線が断線していると検出することを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両充電システム。
- 前記状態検出部は、前記信号生成回路により前記第1のレベルの制御信号が生成されていると検出される場合に、前記レベル切替部により前記制御線の信号レベルを前記第2のレベルに低下した後に、前記信号生成回路から出力されるべき前記電流容量に対応したデューティ比のパルス状の制御信号が検出できなければ、前記充電ケーブル側の前記制御線が断線していると検出することを特徴とする請求項2記載の車両充電システム。
- 請求項1記載の充電ケーブルを介して車両に搭載された蓄電装置へ充電制御する充電制御装置を備える車両充電システムであって、
前記充電制御装置は、前記制御線の信号レベルを段階的に変更可能な抵抗とスイッチの直列回路を前記制御線とグランドの間に備えたレベル切替部を備え、前記電力ケーブルと前記車両とが接続され、前記制御線を介して伝送される前記制御信号が前記第1のレベルであることを検知した後に、前記レベル切替部により前記制御信号を前記第2のレベルに切り替えて、前記電流容量に従って前記蓄電装置を充電する充電制御部と、
前記電力ケーブルと前記車両とが接続され、前記充電制御部により前記制御線に前記第2のレベルの電圧が印加された後に、前記制御線の電圧が前記レベル切替部の抵抗によって前記第2のレベルから変化すると、前記充電ケーブル側の前記制御線が断線していると検出する状態検出部を備えていることを特徴とする車両充電システム。 - 外部電源と接続され、車両に搭載された蓄電装置に充電用の電力を供給する電力ケーブルと、前記電力ケーブルを介して車両に給電可能な電流容量に対応した制御信号を生成する信号生成回路と、前記制御信号を前記信号生成回路の出力端子から車両に伝送する制御線と、前記制御線を介して車両側から印加される電圧を変化させるバイパス回路を、前記信号生成回路の前記出力端子とグランドの間に備えている充電ケーブルが車両に接続されているときに、前記制御線を介して伝送される前記制御信号に基づいて車両に搭載された蓄電装置へ充電制御する充電制御装置であって、
前記電力ケーブルが車両に接続されているときに、前記制御線を介して伝送される前記制御信号の電圧レベルが第1のレベルであることを検知すると、前記制御信号の電圧レベルを第2のレベルに切り替えて、前記電流容量に従って前記蓄電装置を充電する充電制御部と、
前記電力ケーブルが車両に接続された場合に、車両側から前記制御線を介して印加した電圧が前記パイパス回路により変化すると、前記制御線は正常であるが前記電力ケーブルが前記外部電源が接続されていない状態であると判定し、前記制御信号の電圧レベルを第2のレベルに切り替えた後に、前記制御線の信号レベルが一定レベルである場合に前記制御線が断線していると判定する状態検出部と、
を備えていることを特徴とする充電制御装置。
