Description
従来の縁発光型バックライトユニット1は図1に図示したとおり、線光源や点光源で基板12に備えられる光源10と、その一側に配置され光を面光に変換させて液晶パネル(未図示)側に出光させる導光板20、及び上記光源10と導光板20の下部に配置され上記光源から出光した光を反射させる反射部材30を設けて構成する。
図2は本発明による導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニットを図示した縦断面図で、図3は本発明による導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニットを図示した分解斜視図で、図4は本発明に導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニットを図示した全体斜視図で、図5aは本発明に導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニットを図示したものであって、バッファ部の斜視図で、図5bはバッファ部の正面図で、図5cは導光板の斜視図である。

Claims (10)
- 電源印加時光を発生させる光源と、
前記光源から出射した光が入光する入光垂直面に第1プリズムパターンを備え、下部面に屈折パターンを設けて前記入光垂直面から入光した光を面光源に変換させる導光板と、
前記導光板の下部に配置され光を前記導光板側に反射させる反射部と、
前記光源と前記導光板との間に配置され、前記導光板の入光垂直面と対応する出光垂直面に第2プリズムパターンを備えるバッファ部とを含む導光バッファ板を有し、
前記第1プリズムパターンと第2プリズムパターンは、直角に相互交差するパターン型に備えられることを特徴とするバックライトユニット。 - 前記光源は、前記バッファ部の入光垂直面に陥没形成された配置溝に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記光源は、点光源または線光源のうち何れか一つに備えられることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1プリズムパターンは三角断面状の水平な凹凸状に備えられ、前記第2プリズムパターンは三角断面状の垂直な凹凸状に備えられることを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記第1プリズムパターンは三角断面状の垂直な凹凸状に備えられ、前記第2プリズムパターンは三角断面状の水平な凹凸状に備えられることを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板は、前記第1プリズムパターンが形成される入光垂直面の正反対側に該当する垂直面に補助プリズムパターンを備えることを特徴とする請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記補助プリズムパターンは、前記第1プリズムパターンと同一の凹凸状に備えられることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記補助プリズムパターンは、前記第1プリズムパターンと直角に交差することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板の上部には、プリズムシートまたは拡散シートのうち何れか一つが積層配置された光学シートをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から8の何れか1項に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板の上部には、プリズムシートと拡散シートが積層配置された光学シートをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から8の何れか1項に記載の導光バッファ板を有するバックライトユニット。
