Description
本比較例1の有機発光素子は、実施例1の有機発光素子ように、赤色発光部(R)の正孔輸送層5が緑色発光部(G)と同じではなく、実施例1の正孔輸送層5の膜厚65nmを100nmとした点が、実施例1と異なる。そのため、本比較例1においては、正孔輸送層の膜厚は、青色発光部で40nm、緑色発光部で65nm、赤色発光部で100nmとなるため、これら青色発光部、緑色発光部、赤色発光部を、夫々精密マスク蒸着を用いて成膜した。
本比較例2の有機発光素子は、実施例2における赤色発光部(R)の電子輸送層17の膜厚を25nmから65nmとした点が異なる。そのため、本比較例2においては、電子輸送層の膜厚は、青色発光部で10nm、緑色発光部で25nm、赤色発光部で65nmとなるため、これら青色発光部、緑色発光部、赤色発光部を夫々精密マスク蒸着を用いて成膜した。
Claims (7)
- 透明絶縁基板上に記置された青色発光部、緑色発光部及び赤色発光部を有し、
前記各発光部は有機発光層と、前記有機発光層を発光させる上部電極及び下部電極を有し、
前記各発光部の前記上部電極又は前記下部電極は、共通の前記透明絶縁基板上に形成され、
前記上部電極及び下部電極のいずれか一方が透明電極、他方は反射電極である有機発光表示装置において、
前記透明電極と有機発光層との間の有機膜厚の関係が、青色発光部=赤色発光部<緑色発光部であり、
前記反射電極と有機発光層との間の有機膜厚が、各発光部で同じであることを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置において、
前記上部電極が透明電極であり、前記下部電極が反射電極であることを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置において、
前記上部電極が反射電極であり、前記下部電極が透明電極であることを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置において、
前記透明電極と有機発光層との間の有機膜は、上部電極を陽極とし、下部電極を陰極とした場合に、正孔輸送層を有することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置において、
前記透明電極と有機発光層との間の有機膜は、上部電極を陰極とし、下部電極を陽極とした場合に、電子輸送層を有することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置において、
前記透明電極と有機発光層との間の膜の電子移動度が、青色発光部より緑色発光部及び赤色発光部で高いことを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置において、
前記青色発光部が隣り合うように、各発光部を順次配置することを特徴とする有機発光表示装置。
