Description
本発明による内燃機関の制御装置は、好ましくは、前記リッチ化制御手段は、前記目標空燃比を運転状態に対応して予め設定した上で格納する目標空燃比格納手段を備え、前記学習手段は、運転状態に対応した前記フィードフォワード補正値を格納する補正値格納手段を備え、前記目標空燃比格納手段と前記補正値格納手段とにおいて、前記目標空燃比と前記フィードフォワード補正値との運転状態に対応したデータ格納ポイントが互いに対応している。
また、本発明によれば、燃焼リッチモードとポストリッチモードとでは、同一空燃比であっても運転状態によって目標吸入空気量および目標燃料噴射量の設定値が異なり、特にポストリッチモードの場合は未燃燃料のまま排気系に流れるのに対して燃焼リッチモードの場合は燃料の増量が煤の発生に影響するので、これらの違いも考慮して各フィードフォワード補正値を設定する必要がある。それが、各運転モードの特性に応じて個々にフィードフォワード補正値を持たせられるので、両モードについて燃料噴射量を最適制御することができる。
また、本発明によれば、制御すべき目標空燃比毎に各フィードフォワード補正値を対応させるので、選択された目標空燃比に最適な補正を加えて空燃比の収束性をより一層向上させることができる。

Claims (2)
- NOx浄化触媒に捕捉されたNOxを還元するために排気系が所定の還元雰囲気となるように排気空燃比をフィードバック制御すべく、目標空燃比と実空燃比との偏差に基づいて燃料噴射量を算出するリッチ化制御手段を備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記リッチ化制御手段は、燃焼前に燃料を噴射するメイン燃料噴射に加えて、燃焼後に燃料を噴射するポスト燃料噴射量を制御するポストリッチモードを備え、
前記ポストリッチモードにおいては、排気空燃比のフィードバック制御に加えて、前回のポストリッチモード時における前記フィードバック制御の燃料噴射量の実制御量に基づいて更新されたフィードフォワード補正値によってフィードフォワード制御を行い、
前記フィードバック制御は、前記ポスト燃料噴射量についてのみ行い、
前記フィードフォワード制御は、前記メイン燃料噴射量とポスト燃料噴射量の双方に対して行い、かつ
前記メイン燃料噴射量に対する前記フィードフォワード制御は、前記フィードフォワード補正値に(重み付け係数a)を乗算して得られる値により行い、前記ポスト燃料噴射量に対する前記フィードフォワード制御は、前記フィードフォワード補正値に(1−重み付け係数a)を乗算して得られる値により行うことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記リッチ化制御手段は、前記目標空燃比を運転状態に対応して予め設定した上で格納する目標空燃比格納手段を備え、
前記学習手段は、運転状態に対応した前記フィードフォワード補正値を格納する補正値格納手段を備え、
前記目標空燃比格納手段と前記補正値格納手段とにおいて、前記目標空燃比と前記フィードフォワード補正値との運転状態に対応したデータ格納ポイントを互いに対応させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
