Description
下り勾配の度合いに応じた補正減速度を算出し、この補正減速度及び車速に基づいて変速段を決定するため、減速度変速特性が軽降坂から二重降坂にわたる広い範囲の下り勾配を適切にカバーすることができ、広い範囲の下り勾配にわたり運転手の意図通りの変速動作が可能となる。減速度リミット値により補正減速度を制限しているため、減速度が大きいときのダウンシフトを遅延させることができ、早すぎるダウンシフトによるショックを防止することができる。

Claims (5)
- 少なくとも車速及びエンジン負荷を含む車両の運転状態を検出する運転状態検出手段と、
走行路の勾配を検出する勾配検出手段と、
前記勾配に基づいて予め設定された複数の変速特性の一つを選択する変速特性選択手段とを備えた車両用自動変速機の制御装置において、
単位時間当りの車速の増加度又は減少度から加速度又は減速度を求める加減速度算出手段と、
減速度と車速に基づいて変速段を決定する減速度変速特性と、
ブレーキの作動を検出するブレーキ検出手段と、
算出された減速度に下り勾配の度合いに応じた補正係数を乗じて補正減速度を算出する補正減速度算出手段と、
下り勾配の度合いに応じた減速度リミット値を算出する減速度リミット値算出手段と、
前記補正減速度が前記減速度リミット値を越えたときには、前記補正減速度を前記減速度リミット値に制限する補正減速度制限手段と、
前記勾配検出手段により降坂路と判定され、前記ブレーキ検出手段によりブレーキの作動が検出されたとき、前記選択された変速特性から前記減速度変速特性に変更して、該減速度変速特性に基づいて変速段を決定し、前記減速度変速特性は前記補正減速度と車速に基づいて変速段を決定する車両用自動変速機の制御装置。 - 車速及び前記補正減速度に基づき設定された減速度変速特性マップに基づいてブレーキダウン制御目標変速段を算出する目標変速段算出手段と、
ダウンシフト変速の終了を検出する変速終了検出手段と、
変速終了時にその時の前記目標変速段に基づいてダウンシフトの実行を判断するダウンシフト実行判断手段と、
を更に具備したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用自動変速機の制御装置。 - 下り勾配の度合いに応じたキックアップ判断加速度閾値を各変速段毎に設定するキックアップ加速度閾値設定手段と、
アクセル踏込で加速度が前記キックアップ判断加速度閾値を超えたなら、キックアップを許容するキックアップ許容手段と、
を更に具備したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用自動変速機の制御装置。 - ダウンシフト解除アップシフト判断減速度閾値を各変速段毎に設定するアップシフト減速度設定手段と、
アクセルペダルオフ且つブレーキペダルオフで、減速度が前記ダウンシフト解除アップシフト判断減速度閾値を超えたとき、アップシフトを許可する解除アップシフト許可手段と、
を更に具備したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用自動変速機の制御装置。 - 降坂路の勾配度合いに応じて各変速段毎に降坂路アップシフト制限車速を設定する降坂路アップシフト制限車速設定手段と、
アクセルペダル踏込による発進加速時に、前記選択された変速特性の最低アップシフト車速を前記降坂路アップシフ制限車速に持ち替えるアップシフト許可変更手段と、
を更に具備したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用自動変速機の制御装置。
