Claims (7)
- 中心孔を有する基板と、該基板の上に所定の凹凸パターンで形成され、該凹凸パターンの凸部のうち、外周及び内周の少なくとも一方の端部の凸部として形成された非記録要素及び他の領域の凸部として形成された記録要素を備える記録層と、該記録層の凹凸パターンの凹部を充填し、且つ、該記録層の少なくとも前記非記録要素を被覆する非磁性材と、前記記録層及び前記非磁性材の上に形成された保護層と、を含み、前記非磁性材が、前記記録要素の上におけるよりも前記非記録要素の上において厚く形成されたことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。
- 基板と、該基板の上に所定の凹凸パターンで形成され、該凹凸パターンの凸部のうち、外周の端部及び中央部の少なくとも一方の凸部として形成された非記録要素及び他の領域の凸部として形成された記録要素を備える記録層と、該記録層の凹凸パターンの凹部を充填し、且つ、該記録層の少なくとも前記非記録要素を被覆する非磁性材と、前記記録層及び前記非磁性材の上に形成された保護層と、を含み、前記非磁性材が、前記記録要素の上におけるよりも前記非記録要素の上において厚く形成されたことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。
- 請求項1又は2において、
前記保護層が、前記記録要素に接していることを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。 - 請求項1又は2において、
前記非磁性材が、前記記録層の上の全面に配設され、且つ、前記記録要素の上におけるよりも前記非記録要素の上において厚く形成されたことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかにおいて、
前記非磁性材は、酸化物、窒化物、炭化物のいずれかであることを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれかにおいて、
前記非記録要素の上面の最小幅は、前記記録要素の上面の最小幅よりも広いことを特徴とする磁気記録媒体。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の磁気記録媒体と、該磁気記録媒体に対してデータの記録/再生を行うための磁気ヘッドと、を備えることを特徴とする磁気記録再生装置。
