Claims (5)
- 内燃エンジンのためのピストン(2)であって、
上記ピストンの外周面に設けられ、上記ピストンの軸方向において互いに離間した溝側面(3’,3’’’)を有し、かつ該溝側面の間を延びる溝底面(3’’)を有するピストンリング溝(3)、特にコンプレッション溝を備えており、
上記溝底面(3’’)は、比較的大きな曲率半径をもって(ピストンクラウンから離れた)下側の上記溝側面(3’)に移行し、比較的小さな曲率半径をもって(上記ピストンクラウン側の)上側の上記溝側面(3’’’)に移行している
ことを特徴とするピストン。 - 請求項1において、
大きな曲率半径を有する領域は、上記リング溝(3)の中心面(M)を横切って延び、
上記中心面は、上記溝側面(3’,3’’’)の間の中央をピストン軸に対して径方向に広がっている
ことを特徴とするピストン。 - 請求項1または2において、
上記溝底面(3’’)が、大きな曲率半径の領域と小さな曲率半径の領域との間に、ピストン軸に対して傾斜しかつ上記上側の溝側面(3’’’)に向かって広がる円錐状領域を有している
ことを特徴とするピストン。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項において、
上記大きな曲率半径が、上記溝側面(3’,3’’’)同士の間隔(b)の3分の1よりも大きな寸法を有している
ことを特徴とするピストン。 - 請求項4において、
上記比較的大きな曲率半径が、0.4b〜0.6bの寸法を有し、
bは、上記溝側面(3’,3’’’)同士の間隔を意味している
ことを特徴とするピストン。
