{1−[6−(トリフルオロメチル)ピリジン−3−イル]エチル}(メチル)オキシド−λ4−スルファニリデンシアナミドを含む組成物の安定性
1リットルの総容量(〜1100gの総重量)を有する組成物(i)を、機械的撹拌機を備えた清浄なビーカーに脱イオン水を最初に添加することにより調製した。次いで、そのビーカーに以下の成分を連続撹拌下、特になく、添加した。:3.5gのAgnique(登録商標)DFM112S(Cognis Group(Monheim,ドイツに本社を置く)から市販されているシリコン系消泡剤);20gのTersperse(登録商標)2500(Huntsman Performance Products(10003 Woodloch Forest Drive,The Woodlands,TX 77380)から市販されているポリマー界面活性剤);30gのMorwet(登録商標)D−360(Akzo Nobel Surfactants(525W,Van Buren St.,シカゴ,IL60607)から市販されている界面活性剤);20gのEthylan(登録商標)NS500LQ(Akzo Nobel Surfactants(525W,Van Buren St.,シカゴ,IL60607)から市販されている界面活性剤);40gのプロピレングリコール;1gのProxel(登録商標)GXL(Arch Chemicals,Inc.(1955 Lake Drive,Suite 100,スマーナ,GA30080)から市販されているマイクロバイオスタット溶液)。次いで、240gの{1−[6−(トリフルオロメチル)ピリジン−3−イル]エチル}(メチル)オキシド−λ4−スルファニリデンシアナミドをビーカーに添加し、続いて、10gのAvicel(登録商標)CL−611(FMC BioPolymer(1735 Market Street,フィラデルフィア,PA 19103)から市販されている安定剤)および2gのKelzan(CP Kelco(1000 Parkwood Circle,Suite 1000,アトランタ,GA 30339)から市販されているキサンタンガム)を添加した。均一な混合物が得られるまで、成分を撹拌した。次いで、この混合物をビーズミルで3〜5μmの平均粒径に粉砕した。

組成物(ii)〜(xii)のそれぞれは、組成物(i)の成分を含み、水以外は、それぞれの成分は同じ量で与えた。しかし、組成物(i)の調製とは対照的に、240gの{1−[6−(トリフルオロメチル)ピリジン−3−イル]エチル}(メチル)オキシド−λ4−スルファニリデンシアナミド、10gのAvicel(登録商標)CL−611および2gのKelzanを添加する前に、組成物(ii)から(xii)のそれぞれに少量の有機酸または有機酸塩を添加した。組成物(ii)から(xii)の最終処方を表3に示し、組成物(ii)〜(xii)のそれぞれについて具体的な有機酸/塩およびその量を表4に示す。
本文書に開示される組成物は、昆虫を含む無脊椎動物の防除に有用である。したがって、本発明はまた、昆虫抑制量の本組成物を、昆虫の所在場所に、防護すべき領域に、または防除すべき昆虫に対して直接施用する工程を含む、昆虫を抑制する方法に関する。本発明の組成物は、ダニおよび線虫などの他の無脊椎有害生物を防除するためにも使用され得る。

Claims (15)
- 以下の式(I):

R2およびR3は、互いに異なり、個々に、水素、メチル、エチル、フルオロ、クロロまたはブロモを表し;
nは、Lが、単結合を表す場合、1であるか、またはR1、SおよびLが一緒になって、4、5もしくは6員環を表す場合、0であり;
Yは、(C1〜C4)ハロアルキル、F、Cl、Br、またはIを表し;
R4は、(C1〜C3)アルキルを表す)
を有する化合物;および
有機酸またはその塩を含む、組成物。 - Lが、単結合を表し、前記化合物が、以下の構造:

- Yが−CF3を表す、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- R2およびR3が、独立して、水素、メチルまたはエチルを表す、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記有機酸がカルボン酸である、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記カルボン酸が、クエン酸、フタル酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、マレイン酸、マロン酸、乳酸およびコハク酸からなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載の組成物。
- 植物学的に許容される担体をさらに含む、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 防除が望まれる場所に、昆虫不活性化量の請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の組成物を施用する工程を含む、昆虫を防除する方法。
- 以下の構造:
を有する化合物および、有機酸またはその塩を含む、組成物。 - 前記有機酸が、クエン酸、フタル酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、マレイン酸、マロン酸、乳酸およびコハク酸からなる群から選択されるカルボン酸である、請求項11に記載の組成物。
- 1以上のの他の殺虫剤または殺真菌剤をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の組成物。
- 前記化合物および前記有機酸またはその塩の間の重量での比が、約240:1から約48:1である、請求項11に記載の組成物。
- 防除が望まれる場所に、昆虫不活性化量の請求項11に記載の組成物を施用する工程を含む、昆虫を防除する方法。
