このように、理想的には出発原料の炭素質原料とアルミナ質原料の理想組成はモル比で1.5であるところ、Al4O4Cの生成量を増加させるために前記モル比を大きく超えて炭素質原料を増量すると、炭素質原料が過剰となり、均一に出発原料を混合してもAl4C3が生成しやすくなる。

Claims (3)
- 炭素質原料とアルミナ質原料に、炭化珪素、炭化硼素、窒化アルミニウム、窒化硼素及び金属のうち1種以上を外掛けで0.2〜10.0質量%添加し、アーク炉で溶融することを特徴とするアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法で製造されたアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物であって、カーボン含有量が3.1〜6.5質量%以下であるアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物。
- 見掛け比重が3.3以下である請求項2に記載のアルミニウムオキシカーバイド組成物。
