Abstract
Description
さらに、製造直後では、得られた材料は、同一のNCO指数およびハードブロック含有量で高レベルのオキシプロピレン基を有する高い含有量のポリオールから製造した材料に比べて、赤外線分析による残存NCO基のレベルはより低い。本発明に従う材料は、高い衝撃強度と低い脆性を有する。
1)イソシアネート指数、NCO指数、または指数:
百分率で表した、配合物中に存在するイソシアネート反応性水素原子に対するNCO−基の比:
2)イソシアネート指数を計算する目的のために本明細書中で使用する「イソシアネート反応性水素原子」なる表現は、反応性組成物中に存在する水酸基とアミン基の活性水素原子の総量を指す。これは、実際の重合方法でイソシアネート指数を計算する目的で、一つの水酸基は一つの反応性水素を含むものとし、一つの一級アミン基は一つの反応性水素を含むものとされ、一つの水分子は二つの活性水素を含むものとされることを意味する。
3)反応系:ポリイソシアネート類が、イソシアネート反応性成分とは別の一つ以上の容器に保持される状態における成分の組み合わせ。
4)本明細書中で使用する「ポリイソシアヌレートポリウレタン材料」なる表現は、場合により発泡剤を使用して高い指数で三量化触媒の存在下で、上記ポリイソシアネート類とイソシアネート反応性組成物とを反応させることによって得られる発泡または非発泡製品を指し、特に(尿素結合と二酸化炭素を生成し、ポリ尿素−ポリイソシアヌレートポリウレタンフォームを生成する水とイソシアネート基の反応を伴う)反応性発泡剤として水を用いて得られる発泡製品が挙げられる。
5)本明細書中で使用する「平均公称水酸基官能基数」(または、略して「官能基数」)なる用語は、それらの製造で使用される1種または2種以上の開始剤の数平均官能基数(1分子当たりの活性水素原子の数)であるという前提のもとに、ポリオールまたはポリオール組成物の数平均官能基数(1分子当たりの水酸基の数)を示すために使用されるが、実際には、何らかの末端不飽和のために、若干それを下回ることが多い。
6)「平均」なる用語は、他に記載しない限り、数平均を指す。
7)「ハードブロック含有量」なる用語は、使用した全ポリイソシアネート+全イソシアネート反応性材料の量(重量部)に対するポリイソシアネート量+分子量500以下のイソシアネート反応性材料の量(重量部)(ここでこのポリイソシアネート類に取り込まれた500以上の分子量を有するポリオール類は考慮しない)の比を100倍したものを示す。
ハードブロック含有量は、少なくとも50%、好ましくは55〜90%である。
本材料は金型内で製造するのが好ましい。本方法は、当該技術分野で公知の任意のタイプの金型で実施することができる。そのような金型の例としては、サッカーシューズならびにスキーブーツおよびスケートブーツのような靴の部品、アームレスト、ドアパネルおよびバックシェルフのような自動車部品を製造するのに商業的に利用される金型がある。この反応は閉鎖金型内で実施するのが好ましい。本材料を製造するのに使用する原料を、周囲温度から90℃までの温度で金型内に供給し、この金型を本方法の間、周囲温度から150℃までの温度に保持する。反応性アミン基を含有するイソシアネート反応性化合物を使用しないのが好ましいという事実にもかかわらず、離型時間は比較的短い。触媒量に依存して、離型時間は、10分未満、好ましくは5分未満、より好ましくは3分未満、最も好ましくは1分未満である。
本発明の材料は、サッカーシューズの靴底およびスキーブーツ、ドアパネル、バックシェルフおよびサンバイザーのような自動車部品、ならびに合成発泡体および/または吹込発泡体のような強化または構造複合体などの、高剛性で、非脆性、高耐衝撃性および低密度材料が望ましい用途での使用、とりわけ海洋用途に対するパイプ絶縁を含む絶縁目的、ならびに建設および断熱目的に特に適している。
実施例1〜3
Suprasec2015*およびDaltocel F555**を金型に分注した(分注機、Krauss Maffei Comet 2020高圧ピストン機、出力は300g/秒であった)。この金型は、寸法30×60×0.5cmのスチール製金型であり、Battenfeldプレスに装着された。
*Huntsmanより入手可能な、本発明に従うポリイソシアネートであるSuprasec2015。Suprasec2015は、27.4重量%のNCO価を有する。Suprasecは、Huntsmanの商標である。
**3の平均公称官能基数、2000の当量、および75重量%のEO含有量を有するポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレンポリオール。0.4重量%のHuntsman製catalyst LBをこのポリオールに添加した。
Claims (6)
- ポリイソシアネートとイソシアネート反応性組成物とを反応させることを含む、ポリイソシアヌレートポリウレタン材料の製造方法であって、該反応は、1600〜100,000のイソシアネート指数で、かつ三量化触媒の存在下で実施され、該ポリイソシアネートは、a)少なくとも40重量%の4,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートおよび/または25℃で液体でありかつ少なくとも20重量%のNCO価を有する該ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートの変異体を含む75〜100重量%のジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(ポリイソシアネートa))と、b)25〜0重量%のもう一種のポリイソシアネート(ポリイソシアネートb))を含み、ポリイソシアネートa)とポリイソシアネートb)の量は、このポリイソシアネートa)とポリイソシアネートb)との総量に対して計算され、該イソシアネート反応性組成物は、a)2〜6の平均公称官能基数、1100〜5000の平均当量、および65〜100重量%のオキシエチレン(EO)含有量を有する80〜100重量%のポリエーテルポリオールと、b)20〜0重量%の一種以上の他のイソシアネート反応性化合物を含み、ポリオールa)と化合物b)の量は、このポリオールa)と化合物b)との総量に対して計算され、ハードブロック含有量は少なくとも50%である、前記方法。
- 前記当量が1100〜4000であり、かつ前記指数が1700〜50,000である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記オキシエチレン含有量が65〜90重量%であり、ポリオールa)の量が90〜100重量%であり、かつ化合物b)の量が0〜10重量%である請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記材料が100kg/m3を超える密度を有する請求項1から3に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から4に記載の方法に従って製造される材料。
- 請求項1から4に記載の方法に従って得られる材料。
