Abstract
【解決手段】ジルコニウム、フッ素、並びに、水溶性エポキシ化合物からなる化成処理剤であって、上記ジルコニウムは、上記化成処理剤中の含有量が金属換算で20〜10000ppmであり、上記水溶性エポキシ化合物は、ビスフェノールFを基本骨格とし、かつ、アミノ基及びイソシアネート基を含有し、数平均分子量が400〜1000であり、上記化成処理剤中の含有量が固形分濃度で100〜2000ppmである化成処理剤。

Description
上記ケイ素含有化合物(C)は、シリカ、水溶性ケイ酸塩化合物、ケイ酸エステル類、アルキルシリケート類及びシランカップリング剤からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種であることが好ましい。
上記化成処理剤は、pHが1.5〜6.5であることが好ましい。
上記化成皮膜は、皮膜量が化成処理剤に含まれる金属の合計量とエポキシ化合物に含まれる炭素量との合計量で0.1〜500mg/m2であることが好ましい。
上記表面処理金属の被処理物は、自動車車体であることが好ましい。
以下に、本発明を詳細に説明する。
特に好ましい組み合わせとしては、亜鉛イオン、マグネシウムイオン、カルシウムイオン、アルミニウムイオン、鉄イオンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種の金属イオン(A)と銅イオン(B)、ケイ素含有化合物(C)と銅イオン(B)の組み合わせを挙げることができる。
上記脱脂後水洗処理は、脱脂処理後の脱脂剤を水洗するために、大量の水洗水によって1回又はそれ以上スプレー処理を行うことにより行われるものである。
また、本発明の化成処理剤を使用する化成処理は、表面調整処理等を行わなくてもよいことから、作業性の点でも優れている。
冷延鋼板(SPC、日本テストパネル社製、70mm×150mm×0.8mm)、溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板(GA、日本テストパネル社製、70mm×150mm×0.8mm)及び自動車用アルミニウム鋼板(AP、6K21株式会社神戸製鋼所製、70mm×150mm×0.8mm)を基材として、下記の条件で塗装前処理を施した。
(1)塗装前処理
脱脂処理:2質量%「サーフクリーナーEC92」(日本ペイント社製脱脂剤)で40℃、2分間浸漬処理した。
脱脂後水洗処理:水道水で30秒間スプレー処理した。
水洗処理後の金属基材を乾燥せずにウェットなまま電着塗装を行った。
化成処理剤1L当たり1m2の金属基材を処理した後に、「パワーニクス110G」(日本ペイント社製カチオン電着塗料)を用いて乾燥膜厚20μmになるように電着塗装し、水洗後、170℃で20分間加熱して焼き付けた。
脱脂後水洗処理の後に、サーフファイン5N−8M(日本ペイント社製)を用いて室温で30秒間表面調整を行い、サーフダインSD−6350(日本ペイント社製リン酸亜鉛系化成処理剤)を用いて35℃で120秒間浸漬処理を行うことで化成処理を施したこと以外は実施例1と同様にして試験板を得た。
〈浴外観〉
化成処理剤1L当たり1m2の金属基材を処理した後、化成処理剤中の濁りを目視観察した。評価結果を表1に示した。
得られた試験板に、素地まで達する縦平行カットを2本入れた後、5%NaCl水溶液中において50℃で480時間、及び、720時間浸漬した。その後、カット部をテープ剥離し、塗料の剥離を観察した。

評価結果は、表1に示す。
得られた試験板に、長さ10cmのカットを中央で交わるように入れた後、直接曝露試験(JIS Z 2381 屋外曝露試験方法通則、及び、K 5600−7−6等による)に基づき、日本ペイント株式会社宮古島暴露場において暴露試験を行った。曝露場の位置は以下の通りである。
曝露場住所:沖縄県平良市字狩俣3742番地
上記試験6ヶ月経過後、カット部の膨れ幅を観察した。

評価結果は、表1に示す。
Claims (7)
- ジルコニウム、フッ素、並びに、水溶性エポキシ化合物からなる化成処理剤であって、前記ジルコニウムは、上記化成処理剤中の含有量が金属換算で20〜10000ppmであり、前記水溶性エポキシ化合物は、ビスフェノールFを基本骨格とし、かつ、アミノ基及びイソシアネート基を含有し、数平均分子量が400〜1000であり、前記化成処理剤中の含有量が固形分濃度で100〜2000ppmであることを特徴とする化成処理剤。
- 更に、亜鉛イオン、マグネシウムイオン、カルシウムイオン、アルミニウムイオン、鉄イオンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種の金属イオン(A)、銅イオン(B)及びケイ素含有化合物(C)からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含有する請求項1記載の化成処理剤。
- ケイ素含有化合物(C)は、シリカ、水溶性ケイ酸塩化合物、ケイ酸エステル類、アルキルシリケート類及びシランカップリング剤からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種である請求項1又は2記載の化成処理剤。
- pHは、1.5〜6.5である請求項1、2又は3記載の化成処理剤。
- 請求項1、2、3又は4記載の化成処理剤により形成された化成皮膜を有することを特徴とする表面処理金属。
- 化成皮膜は、皮膜量が化成処理剤に含まれる金属の合計量とエポキシ化合物に含まれる炭素量との合計量で0.1〜500mg/m2である請求項5記載の表面処理金属。
- 被処理物は、自動車車体である請求項5又は6記載の表面処理金属。
