Abstract

Si descrivono trombopoietina (tpo) isolata, DNA isolato che codifica tpo, e un procedimento ricombinante o sintetico per preparare e purificare tpo.Vengono indicate varie forme di tpo per influenzare la replicazione, differenziazione e maturazione delle cellule ematiche, specialmente megacariociti e cellule precursori dei megacariociti.Di conseguenza questi composti possono venire usati per il trattamento della trombocitopenia.
