Abstract

1512709 Bookbinding GENERAL BINDING CORP 18 June 1975 [1 July 1974] 25990/75 Heading B6A A cover assembly for binding sheets comprises a spine 110, bearing hot-melt adhesive 12, integrally connected to a back cover board 116 and to a front flap 117 by hinges. A front cover board 118, e.g., of transparent plastics, is attached to the front flap via a pressure sensitive strip 118a on the front cover board, after removal of a release paper. With this arrangement, the adhesive 12 can be heated sufficiently to bind pages applied thereto, without degradation of the plastics front cover board. [GB1512709A]
