In a nut-and-screw fastener similar to that described in the parent Specification, the locking washer 68 with the serrated face 69 for coaction with the serrated face of the captive nut has a tab 67 (which locates in a slot 66 in a flattened corner of one part 59 of the inner cage 59, 60 which anchors the screw) to prevent rotation of the washer. The leaf-spring located in the surface of the nut of the parent Specification may be omitted.
