1,047,545. Anchoring threaded fasteners. VSI CORPORATION. May 27, 1965 [July 14, 1964], No. 22534/65. Heading F2H. An anchorage for a threaded fastener 12, Fig. 1 (not shown), comprises a strip 10 having an aperture formed by punching-out a pair of legs 17, 18, which pass through holes 15 and 16 in a base 14 of the fastener and are bent over to form flanged portions to hold to fastener against rotation. The fastener may be a nut or bolt, in the case of a bolt the head may extend into the aperture to prevent rotation.
