Abstract

950,999. Upholstery. WILMOT-BREEDEN CONTINENTAL S.A. Jan. 14, 1963 [Jan. 17, 1962], No. 2568/62. Heading A4M. A vehicle seat has a main body 1 moulded from foamed polyurethane, the body 1 being moulded around a seat frame 2 and base and back suspension springs 3, 4 which may be sinuous springs or sinuous springs supported on compression springs. The sinuous part 19 and compression springs 18, 20 may be wound from a single wire (Fig. 5). Springs 3, 4 are connected to the frame by clips 21 having inturned ends which engage apertures in the frame member, the springs being hooked on to portions 25 which are joined by parts 26 to form a hook member.
