943,384. Brassieres. UNITED CELLULAR PRODUCTS CORPORATION Aug. 3, 1962, No. 29841/62. Heading A3V. [Also in Divisions B3 and B5] Breast pads or cups which may be cloth covered are moulded from cured foam material, so that while the peripheral portions are compressed and strong, the central portions are thick and may form padding. The cups may be stitched around the edges to incorporate them into a brassiere &c., or two cups may be moulded together with a layer or layers of cloth to form a composite garment, the cloth being stretchable, e.g. nylon. Alternatively non-stretchable cloth may be used to cover flat portions 55 only, or sewed or folded to follow the contour of cups 54 as well. The foam material may be polyurethane.
