Abstract

940,422. Powder distributers. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. March 14, 1960 [March 13, 1959], No. 28782/63. Divided out of 940,421. Heading A1D. A powder distributer of the kind comprising a container from which material is fed to a rotary spreading member 3, is provided with an agitating device in the form of a spiral element 34 eccentrically connected to a rotatable driving means. As shown a shaft 19 on which is mounted the spreading member 3 is provided with blades 21, 22 and a web 23 which carries a rod 26 on which is mounted a tube 27 carrying stirrer arms 28 and 29 and arms 30, 32 between which the spiral element 34 is mounted. The tube is retained on the rod 26 by means of a washer 35 and a cap 36 provided with a bayonet slot 38. Specification 906,299 also is referred to.
