Abstract
933,373. Knitting-machines. SDRUZENI PODNIKU TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI March 9, 1961 [March 11, 1960], No. 8645/61. Class 74 (2). Selector mechanism is provided in a circular machine for rendering the yarn guides operative or inoperative and comprises a series of cam discs each associated with a ratchet-wheel operated by a pawl, the pawls being controlled by a selector member such that upon a change of any two yarns the pawl of the guide which has supplied a yarn and the pawl of the guide which has to be set in operation are actuated simultaneously. The selector comprises an axially adjustable rod having grooves of the same depth but of different width. The pawls also have extensions of different thickness so that by adjusting the position of the selector the various pawls are rendered operative or inoperative by their extensions engaging in the grooves or bearing on the periphery of the selector.
