Abstract

932,791. Two-part couplings. COMMUNICATIONS PATENTS Ltd. Sept. 29, 1959 [Sept. 3, 1958], No. 28309/58. Class 38 (1). A printed circuit panel 4 is detachably mounted on a chassis 6 in edge-to-edge relationship with another printed circuit panel 5, the terminations 10, 9 of the printed circuits on the panels being interconnected by a coupling unit comprising doubled ended spring clips 11 mounted upon an insulating strip 12. Each clip 11 includes a resilient lower bar 14 for engaging the terminals 9 and 10, an upper bar 13 and an intermediate web 15, the outer ends of the bar 13 being turned over notches in the strip 12 to hold the clip in position. Bars 17 near each end of the strip 12 engage with slots 18 and 19 in the panels 4 and 5 to ensure correct alignment of clips and terminals.
