Abstract

1,055,542. Lamp-holders. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Sept. 1, 1964, No. 35741/64. Addition to 865,868. Heading H2E. The spring contact-making members of the parent Specification are modified to form U- shaped clips with one limb 3 of each clip having an inwardly extending sharply curved nose portion 4 to co-operate with a groove on one side of the base of the inserted device, and with the other limb 5, of each clip formed with an inwardly extending portion 6, less sharply curved than said nose portion, to make contact with a contact on the base of the device. Each clip has a part extending therefrom to make electrical connection to the clip, and this part may be arranged to engage a conductor of a painted circuit board.
