Abstract

932,233. Windscreen wipers. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. April 29, 1959 [April 29, 1958; Feb 13, 1959], Nos. 13593/58 and 5121/59. Class 138 (1). In a windscreen wiper blade assembly comprising a wiper rubber, a backing strip, and a harness, the rubber has two wiping lips 16, 18 separated by substantially the width of the rubber, the height of which is preferably less than twice the distance between the lips. To prevent building up of air pressure between the lips the back of the wiper rubber is perforated by spaced holes 38. The rubber may also have transverse ribs 20, as described in Specification 932,236. Specifications 736,897,919,645, 932,234 and 932,237 also are referred to.
