Abstract

539.929. Windscreen wipers. TRICO PRODUCTS CORPORATION. Dec. 19, 1940, No. 17880. Convention date, Dec. 19, 1939. [Class 138 (i)] A windscreen wiper is provided with a flexible scraper which precedes the squeegee as the wiper moves. As shown, the squeegee 22, mounted in a metal channel 18, has on either side a scraper 24 formed from a channel of celluloid or similar resilient material, the edges of the scraper may be slotted. In a modification the scraper is separate and is clipped on to the wiper.
