Abstract

906,904. Cartons; packages. KIMBERLYCLARK CORPORATION. Jan. 1, 1959 [Feb. 6, 1958], No.84/59. - Classes 18 and 94 (1). A carton folded from a single blank to tubular form and secured by a glued flap 5, has a line of weakness 20 by which the carton can be separated into two containers, a stack 25a, 25b, of paper table napkins, or wax paper sheets being packed in each part of the carton, and one surface 2 of the carton having a weakened line 21a so that portions 22a, 22b can be torn out to facilitate removal of the sheets. The sheets of paper may be folded at 27a and 27b with these folded edges lying adjacent in the line of weakness. If the fourth side of the carton remains untorn, the two containers remain hinged together by that side.
