890,987. Reciprocating pumps. SALISBURY PRECISION ENGINEERING Ltd. March 13, 1958 [March 13, - 1957], No. 8319/57. Class 102 (1). [Also in Group XXX] A reciprocating pump for supplying fluid to a hydraulic lifting ram on a fork lift truck or other lifting apparatus (see Group XXX) is actuated by a hand lever 11 which is pivoted to the apparatus frame on a pin 14 and which is pivotally connected to the pump piston rod at 15, a foot pedal 18 being pivoted on a pin 23 to a bracket 20 mounted on the hand lever. The foot pedal may be locked in its vertical inoperative position by a catch or by the friction between the bearing 24 and side members of the bracket 20. Specifications 816,473 and 822,481 are referred to.
