Abstract

1,107,430. Lift trucks. HYDRAULMEKANO A.B. 29 Sept., 1966 [29 Sept., 1965], No. 43558/66. Heading B8H. A pallet-lifting truck comprises a frame 3, which is provided with fork arms 7 and which is secured to an hydraulic ram cylinder 5, and a frame 1 mounted on a pair of steering wheels 4 and supporting the piston rod of the ram. Each fork arm is additionally supported by an X- linkage comprising a pair of arms 8, 9 pivotally connected at 10, the arm 8 being pivoted at one end to the frame 1 and having at its other end a roller 11 engaging a track in the undersurface of the fork arm 7, and the arm 9 being pivoted at one end to the frame 3 and having at its other end a ground-engaging roller 12. The truck is steered by means of a drawbar 18 which is adapted to actuate a two-stage pump. The arms 8, 9 may be constructed such that their outer portions are of greater length than their inner portions as measured from the pivot 10 whereby the fork arms will be directed slightly upwardly when in the raised position.
