Abstract

878,164. Windscreen wipers. BOSCH G.m.b.H., ROBERT. July 31, 1959 [Aug. 2, 1958], No. 26276/59. Class 138(1). The end of a wiper arm 1 is fitted into a socket for securing it to the wiper (not shown), and is held therein by a leaf spring 2 having a projection 8 engaging in a hole 5 in the arm 1. The latter is also formed with a projection 4 received in a groove 7 in the socket. The projection 4 abuts the end 6 of the groove 7 when the projection 8 is aligned with the hole 5, and also serves for engagement in any corresponding recess provided in a wiper blade socket of a different construction to which the wiper arm is to be secured.
