Abstract

1,096,916. Windscreen wipers. TRICOFOLBERTH Ltd. Aug. 16, 1965 [May 15, 1964], No. 20358/64. Heading A4F. A releasable clip for attaching a windscreen wiper arm to a windscreen wiper blade is adapted for connecting either an arm having a raised pip on one face or an arm having two lateral notches at its outer end. The clip has a channel shaped body 2 to which are secured leaf springs 14, 16 to form a recess 18 into which the end of a wiper arm 19 may be inserted so that a raised pip 20 thereon is engaged in a hole 10 in the body and retained by the springs 14, 16. The spring 16 has bent-up fingers 26 which extend through lateral notches 28 in the spring 14 for latching engagement in lateral notches in the alternative wiper arm.
