[Also in Group XXXVI] Electrodes in a discharge tube are supported in desired spaced relation by means of a ceramic member of elongated form into contact with a face of which at least one rod secured to each of the electrodes extends, the rods being affixed to the spacer by glass fused to the rod and to the adjacent surface of the spacer. The invention is described in relation to an electron gun and to the electrodes of a tetrode. Specification 592,038 is referred to.
