871,366. Hand trucks; litters. SLINGSBY Ltd., H. C., and SLINGSBY, G. July 1, 1957 [June 29, 1956], No. 20183/56. Class 108(1). A pair of auxiliary lifting handles 3 for a hand truck are integral with a member 1 which carries two brackets 4 for engaging a corner of the load and a device for adjustably securing to the member 1 a strap 6 provided with fixing means 10 for engagement with the truck axle. Two such handle assemblies connected by a single strap under a load may be used to carry the load. Specifications 699,025 and 858,415 are referred to.
